We fly with US Airways a lot. The alcohol is not free but everything else is. We don't usually drink whilst flying because of the dehydration. It can really mess us up, but that's just us. They are usually OK. Video on demand on the transatlantic leg, WiFi on the cross country leg.

Going to Vegas for 10 days in October (second time for me, first for my partner) Flying from Manchester with US Airways (£963 all-in which seemed evry good? What are they like?) and staying at Tahiti All-Suites on W. Flamingo for £409. Looks OK with good reviews - most of the negatives are centered around having to take out your own trash! The kitchenettes seal it for us as that is what we prefer. Anybody else ever stayed there?

Would I be better joining various player clubs now or waiting till we are there? A friend is going early September so I have asked him to bring some discount booke etc. back. All tips re flight, hotel, stay most welcome

aw, I never thought of it that way...I guess I like just a few lines to a full blown novel - anything really...I hope that no one avoids this place because they feel pressured..and while you may never have done a blow-by-blow trip report - you have come by after a trip and given us your highlights - that counts as a trip report to me. :)

Thanks Ferf, thats what I wanted to say but I sounded all grumpy and aggresive!.....sorry Photome didn't want it to come accross that way, hope I didn't offend :(

Got flights and hotel for 14 nights in september. Although flight is indirect will take about 15 hrs all in from manchester. We are travelling with U,S airlines. Has anyone travelled with this airline and is it ok? Not sure if drinks are at an extra charge? We were trying to book flight and hotel seperate but it was sooo expensive £700-£800 just for the flight! Managed to get a package for £900 each staying at the Vdara hotel. However there is an extra charge of $20 per day as the resort fee to pay at the end of our holidayNot sure if thats a good deal or not? Can't wait for sunny Vegas :j

well you certainly won't be disappointed with the Vdara, we'll be there in just over a week (:eek::eek:)
which type of room have you got?

Who did you book the package with? That sounds a good price for the Vdara.

I don't think I've read of anyone on here staying there - it's quite a way from everything though, you know that, yes? Down near the south outlet mall I think. Not walkable. Will you have a car?

As for the players clubs - unless you want to book a deal that is only open to members, not sure that there is any benefit in signing up in advance...you still have to go to collect your card (showing ID), you may miss out on some freebies in joining in advance too...remember that many of the players clubs cover multiple casinos and the sign-up bonuses are better at some than others - so choose wisely.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
