November / DecemberWhen I google Tahiti all suites, I get one on Tropicana. There is a Tahiti Village on South LVB. Which one are you booked in to? All of them seem quite a way from the heart of the action.0

MayWe've passed a Tahiti Village on the way to the Premium Outlets South and there didn't seem to be much near them.0

I've been out for a run (in August!) past Tahti Village near South Outlets, There's a Denny's next door and not too far away a strip of eating places including Outback steakhouse where you can get a nice steak and 2 sides for $9.99 and happy hour on drinks (nice margharita). It is a drive to the strip and all the action but I think they do a free shuttle bus.0 -

You're absolutely right - I was thinking of the wrong Tahiti in Vegas, totally missed the remark about being on Tropicana...it looks like it's about 1/2 mile further west than Orleans...not sure I'd be all that keen on the area - not that it would be dangerous, just seems a bit...meh.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
November / DecemberThis should be a public link to my pictures of the Kylie concert on facebook. I'll post more as I get them uploaded.0

November / DecemberThis should be a link to a few pictures I took at Palazzo of the Memorial Day display and a few of the audience members at the Burlesque hall of fame awards at Orleans. That was the weirdest bunch of people I have ever seen. There were men dress as women, women dressed as men, men in "normal" clothes from the waist up, but with high heels and stockings on the bottom half. One guy was striding out in a pair of thigh length patant leather boots with spike heels. He looked very comfortable in them.
Can someone let me know if the links don't work, TIA.0 -
Julyvery random question ... has anyone been to the Costco north of the Strip, over the back of the Outlet Mall?
apparently you can use UK membership cards over there?
worth the trip anyone? love going to the ones over here!0 -
AugustGoing to Vegas for 10 days in October (second time for me, first for my partner) Flying from Manchester with US Airways (£963 all-in which seemed evry good? What are they like?) and staying at Tahiti All-Suites on W. Flamingo for £409. Looks OK with good reviews - most of the negatives are centered around having to take out your own trash! The kitchenettes seal it for us as that is what we prefer. Anybody else ever stayed there?
Would I be better joining various player clubs now or waiting till we are there? A friend is going early September so I have asked him to bring some discount booke etc. back. All tips re flight, hotel, stay most welcome
Why did you choose Tahiti ?, as you have guessed I dont think anyone on here as ever stayed there. There are other properties with kitchenettes on the strip where lots have stayed, but I guess it is prob to late to change0 -
