did we ever get a report back from Mookybargirl?
Heads up on today's groupon which is $50 for $100 of services @ Luxors spa (+20% gratuity):
http://www.groupon.com/deals/luxor-hotel-nurture-spa
Missus has been here and quite enjoyed it - was quite a few years ago mindSeems a decent deal anyways!
Then this has also appeared on TZ - Local:
http://www.travelzoo.com/local-deals/deal/2213
"$69 -- Chic Italian Dinner for 2 w/Sparkling Wine, Reg. $136 @ d.Vino (Monte Carlo)" - not eaten there (and don't particularly wish to as not overly keen on Italian food), but it might be a good deal
Also, slightly OT but a few people do combine the west-coast cities so worth pointing this out to anyone going up San Francisco way, seems quite a decent deal:
http://www.travelzoo.com/local-deals/deal/2266
$69 -- Napa Valley Wine Train w/Food and Wine, Reg. $99
We did the wine train a few years ago - this deal seems to be one of the cheaper ones (where you alternate between the eating carriage and the non-eating carriage when going there / going back - the one we did you stayed in the same carriage for both directions) but seems good for what you get. We really enjoyed it0 -

A week until I go, I'm so excited! I've got travel insurance and ESTA all sorted out...can't do online check-in until the day before. Got my Halifax Clarity card, electricity adapter plugs.
Gonna try the $20 trick at Tropicana, is it likely to work even though I booked the room as part of a package (through Lastminute.com)? Or does it only really work when the room has been booked directly with the hotel? I reeeeally hope we can get a Strip view room.
And finally, any free/cheap attractions that you would consider unmissable? The majority of our time will be spent gambling, eating and drinking but it would be nice to see/do some cool things too!
Note: we are six 21/22/23 year old men who have just graduated0
