The Cosmopolitan has stopped doing breakfast and lunch. Instead they are offering brunch from 8am till 2pm

The new Margaritaville casino is due to open in October in the area where Steahouse 46 used to be.

I'm not sure if I am happy about this...on the one hand, maybe brunch would be a nice thing...but maybe not...I couldn't care less about the champagne, mimosa or bloody mary really...and $22 is steep for breakfast, possibly even for lunch...it always seems like they bump the price up for the drink which I'd prefer to skip and pay less. I think I'm a bit sad as this was on the to-do list for breakfast in September...I think we may still do it...

I also always think of something pebbles said about her OH's take on brunch being a tactic to increase prices if I remember correctly.

Thanks for posting this as at least we know now and can plan accordingly.

I'm not sure how I feel about this too. Went for lunch in April and really liked the individual servings and was on my list to do again in July. Thanks for the info will now have to decide over brunch or dinner.

    Hello

Just joined the forum after reading through this thread. What a fantastic source of info & tips - a big help when it came to booking our trip.

Having booked to go to Las Vegas in July, OH has said that they would really like to go and see Phantom of the Opera whilst we are there.

Therefore, can anyone offer any guidance on the following:

    1) Buying tickets - Noticed that the show is available via Travelzoo at the moment (& assume that it will be back for July bookings) - Is this a good option or would it be better to try Tix4Tonite(or similar) once in Las Vegas (if they even sell tickets for this show)?

    2) Suggestions on seating - Assume that we should aim for Grand circle or orchestra rather than mezzanine and is it preferable to be 'central' to the stage?

All help and suggestions gratefully received.

    Thanks

    Hawk
