SeptemberIs there a trick to drinking for free? Let's say I've lost my daily gambling allocation, it's 10pm, I fancy a few beers with my girlfriend. We could go to a bar, but I've heard that beers are free if we play the slots or the video blackjack.
Is there +ev way of playing a machine where we wouldn't lose the price of a beer in the 15 minutes it would take me to drink it? e.g. Could I play 10c a hand of video blackjack, one hand a minute, for 15 minutes, therefore $1.50 down (not including any winnings) but up the price of a beer?
And could I sound anymore of a cheapskate? :P
Keep your gambling allowance and drinking allowance separate, that way you can always drown your sorrows. It's someone else's fault.0 -

is this free to sign up for?
is it worth signing up for, if I'm only going to do a casual bit of gambling and not spending $100s?

in the bars last year from memory a bottle of fizzy weak american crap they class as beer was about $8. I know by the pools we were getting a bucket of 5 for $35 during the day.
Bud lime is the best of a bad bunch.
The best beer I had out there was in Ellis Island where they brew their own0 -

!!!!!! is free to sign up, but I wouldn't sign up till after your first visit, reason being that if you sign up at a casino, you're more likely to get some sort of freebie thrown in - used to be t-shirts etc, (not sure if still is), now-a-days seems to be $10+ freeplay depending on how many points you get
Ferf posted a link in the last week or 2 that listed what the offers for signup were at each casino
edit: this one

JulyThink it's been said before that all Players Clubs are worth signing up to (especially if you are likely to return!)

no worries - you have nothing to lose - a quick look at the site reveals nothing listed for !!!!!! casinos, but I refuse to believe they don't have any signup offers!
Maybe Luci would be able to clarify for you whilst she's there0 -
MaySorry I don't know about the sign up for MLIFE as it's years since I signed up.
Unlike CET/Harrah's, who give you better rates on rooms if you have a card, they only benefit I can think of is that MLIFE sometimes email you offers, but you don't need to have a card to get them.
As for bar top VP, it is normally 25c and you are expected to play max bet before you get comped drinks.
No problem getting drinks playing 1c slots. We had great service yesterday at the Cosmopolitan when the Cosmpolitans and paralyzers were coming thick and fast and they were strong drinks too.
Casino Royale has $1 Michelobs and margaritas. Bill's margaritas are now $2. O'Shea's has $2 beers and $5 Irish Car Bombs.0
