So jealous pebbles. Hoping to go in Sept again, but it's a long shot after just buying a new car - lol

How long are you guys out for this trip?
PS - I've still not managed to see Big Elvis..... :rotfl:

We're very frugal in Vegas, that's why we manage to stay for ages. This trip is almost two months. A bit TOO long for me, but I promised that I'd try it.

Big Elvis is a shadow of his former self these days. His voice is still very good though.

Nice one :) (Hoping Continental/United will do the same for me on some of the 8 flights I'm doing but as a lowly silver not holding my breath !)

How long are you there for ?

EDIT Oh you said :) If you fancy a coffee drop me a PM -I'm at the oh so frugal Cesears 15-18/5 (well it is frugal when it's comped lol)

Two months, thats amazing! Do you stay on the strip for the whole time?

We were there for a month last summer but stayed in a villa just a walk from the outlet mall (Mandalay end, is that North? always want to say south but thats strat end, right?)

    Have a great time :)

Thanks bubble, I'll try my best.

We are taking advantage of cheap and free room offers for the whole time. We're on the strip for two weeks of that time, the remainder is at Rio, Gold Coast and Orleans. We priced up renting an apartment, but most of them were much more than we wanted to pay. It would be nice to have laundry facilities and suchlike, so we might think of that for next time.

As far as I know, the South end is Mandalay Bay end. The whole of the Strip is LVB South, and then there is LVB North after Downtown. So IMHO you were right first time.

I'm very jealous but can't complain too much as back in August for 3 weeks. Don't know why I get confused with North and South ends, thanks.

Mookybargirl, looking forward to next installment. Cosmo does look lovely, wish I had stayed there.

Has anyone a list with free credit to play slots when signing up for player rewards. I remember that at the Wynn you got £10 and also Caesars offered something similar.

    Cheers!

I've did this route 3 times, flight is always full and it's usually 5 hours of a journey. Plus I'm usually sandwiched in the middle of 3 seats

Well done on getting upgraded ! :T

Did you use air miles for this ? We've 100,000 air miles between us with US but the last time we tried at the airport to see if we could use miles for Philly to LV they wanted $250 dollars - no miles which was not what their web-site stated

We're silver with them, and didn't pay anything for it. I would love to get an upgrade on the MAN-PHL leg on the way home. That would be great!

Thanks for letting me know, we're unlikely to get Silver as we are probably only likely to go to the US twice a year, although this year it will only be the one trip.

I think that's it - but it's a blocked site from work so cannot be sure. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
