2014: $1000 spending money for hols
2015: 8 night holiday to Thailand0 -
Thanks for that - I love street dance and have been thinking about trying to see this show, may try to fit it in in March...good to know that tickets are available at the half price booths.
Oh you really should try and go. I'd forgotten before, but think it might have actually been you who mentioned that the show was starting at the Monte Carlo in the first place so thanks for that - we probably wouldn't have realised otherwise. I think it was one of my husband's favourite parts of the trip - he bought a ridiculously priced souvenir mask afterwards and everything, the fool :rotfl:
Just for info, the guy at the Tix4Tonight booth actually recommended we go for the cheapest tickets available (before we found they were sold out obviously) as even right at the back in that theatre it wouldn't be too far to the stage.0 -

Mezzanine tickets for $45 here, but only up until 30 April at the moment:

I'm sure I've seen them on Smarter Vegas before though so wouldn't be surprised if they extended the offer dates.0 -

Wow Vikki, thank you, that is great offer, I will keep checking and hopefully they will extend offer closer to date.:TBest wins ever:

I think they are in what was the Lance Burton Theater and we saw Mr Burton there - so I agree that being at the back would not be an issue, especially for a show like this (we had 2nd row seats for Lance and that was great for his close-up stuff).
Will make a note of the dates the show is dark and try to make a trip to Tix4Tonight on an appropriate day.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

When would be the best time to book the hotel...I know Vegas is notorious for hotel offers. On that note does anybody know of any offers available already for June?
. no magic formula as to when to absolute rock bottom price will appear , but follow the advice in post 1 .
book something reasonably priced that is refundable , then keep tabs on the hotel offers listed in post 1 . 12 weeks out is when people often find good deals , but it may be earlier , or very near to when you go .
best bet is check deals links every week up to 12 weeks out then check as often as you can from there .Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -

OctoberHmmm, not sure you're going to like the Carriage House given the places you've stayed at in the past. The furnishing are quite old fashioned compared to most hotels.
Boa stayed there based on my recommendation and loved it, but he had to accommodate 2 teenagers and it was perfect for a family.
We've stayed there 5 times and going back twice next trip. Always a one bedroom suite, but we much prefer the kitchenette and full bathroom as it has a much bigger bedroom with a separate sink.
Thanks for the advice Lucy, I think you were the first one to mention this place. I am sure it will be fine, we had a look on the website and although the decor does not seem very contemporary it looks cosy and big rooms. Yes we are going for the suite with the kitchenette for the same reason. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
OctoberThat's US Air not American
As for not seeing AA on kayak last night when everyone else can-sounds like a cookies issue-just clear them and it shouldn't happen again
Sorry yes you are correct, U.S. Airways. For some reason I never fancied using them, don't like the black planes.:)The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot.
