You can add Stripsteak to the list of expensive places that are nothing special. Our steak was good and we enjoyed the meal. However I think it was $5 for the coffee and we only got one small cup and no refill. It wasn't worth $225 for 2 of us.

Thanks for heads up, but I cant see you spending $100 (and dont forget 18% tip auto added) at stripburger, and why would you want to spend that much at a burger bar between 2 people ?

Obviously id have preferred the cheaper ones but they'd gone. That one cost me about £2.70 so if I dont use it I'm not fussed. But knowing me and the missus after looking at the menu we will want to try a lot of things and the cocktails look lovely, but as I say if i don't use it then it's no biggie.

Now I have to find cheap tickets for Penn and Teller for 4 May,

We picked up our penn and teller tickets on the day we went at one of the ticket discount places. If you go mid-week you should have no problems getting them this way. It was a great show, we really enjoyed it :) Unless you can find some substantial savings off the full cost I'd personally wait until you're there to be honest.

Hope you have a great trip!!

You do that, mind you might have a problem telling her from the monkeys. She will be the one not licking her own a$$
BTW I am working in Portland at the moment and on a clear day you can see all the way to Torbay.
    Have a great time.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

40% off here - through box office.

I know it says through April, but the deal has been going for ever, it seems...may be worth checking anyway.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

This Groupon Voucher could be useful for people flying from Heathrow

Catch your Flight in Time with a One-way Trip on the High Speed Heathrow Express for just £7.50 instead of £16.50

Doubt it lol! My OH wants to try some proper mexican food so if anyone has any recommendations i would be grateful.

it's not the most 'authentic' Mexican on the Strip, but I'll give a :T to Cabo Wabo at the front of Planet Hollywood/Miracle Mile. It couldn't be any more 'on the strip', you can sit outside watching the world go by/Bellagio fountains.

the service was brilliant, our waitress brought over some extra bits&pieces she thought we might like and made some great suggestions as to what to choose from the menu.

I thought the food was really good, generous portion sizes. You might be able to get more 'authentic' Mexican food elsewhere, but I don't think you'll find many places with a better atmosphere :)

Starting to get the little things in place now despite it being 5 months till I go! Just ordered my copy of the American Casino Guide from Amazon, looking at the links on the first page I can probably justify the cost with free play alone. Think I might become a bit of a bargain hound visiting a shed load of casinos and demanding my matched bet/slot play and topping it off with a discounted buffet.
