I find it too stressful trying to get one of the cheaper vouchers!Thankfully, drinks are included and the jumbo cocktails at $18 each, plus having the most expensive starters and mains, should bump the bill up nicely:D
But...then don't you end up spending more of your own money in the end? Since you have to spend $100 - $50 for the voucher, $50 of your money...Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

depends what you intend to spend originally I guess, if you can easily rack up a bill of $100...
you have to order $100, will have spent $50 + $4.
so you're basically buying a $100 voucher for $54.
so if you were only going to order $60's worth, then you're only saving $6 on what you would have ordered... and getting $40 of free stuff you wouldn't have done/don't want0 -

Hi, yes sure, I get the principle of the vouchers...I just didn't get buying expensive cocktails to bump the price up to get to use the higher value voucher is all...I guess if the cocktails would have been ordered anyway then it makes sense.
I just thought that if 2 people would normally spend about $35 using the $25 voucher (that's what we do usually)...so $2 for the cost of the voucher + $10 cash (ignoring tip for these purposes) = $12...I suppose it depends on what value the cocktails have to someone...for us it would be crazy - we would never normally order something like that, so we would be paying more money to save more money and wouldn't make sense.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Julyi think it's because the minimum value voucher currently available is the $50 one, the cheaper ones have sold out... so looking at how you can maximise the $100 spend
i don't think me and the OH could spend $100 in one go, even with cocktails (esp. as I don't drink!)0 -
JuneI got one too..... 7 in my party now so should be easy to get a big bill at the burger joint0

AugustStripburger vouchers are available on restaurant.com :-) just bagged myself one and used the TASTY 80% off code.
The lesser value ones had gone though so had to get a $50 Voucher which need a $100 spend......not sure if we'll manage that with 2 of us.
Thanks for heads up, but I cant see you spending $100 (and dont forget 18% tip auto added) at stripburger, and why would you want to spend that much at a burger bar between 2 people ?0 -
SeptemberWas thinking of buying some restaurant.com vouchers for our honeymoon in September. I was wondering if there are any places people would definately recommend trying? We aren't fussy at all and like to try lots of different food. There's 15 pages and i'm getting a little bamboozled by it all lol.0
