We are in minority taking kids to vegas :D, I have a booking at Flamingo this year which I am going to cancel because of the pool changes.
I cant see there being enough room round the small pool for families

Is there a problem with the pool? I'm going to the Flamingo in September with my grown up daughter (she's there for the bellet dancing festival).
    It's someone else's fault.

Slightly off-topic but does anyone know if you can take chocolate in to the US?

I take chocolate both in my case and hand luggage every year. Can't stand American chocolate :)

. Casa di Amore which we really like and they send a free limo to pick you up and take you back again. You just need to tip the driver.

    How grown up?

If she is 18 plus there is no problem, they have just made the main pool adults(over 18) only.

Means that familys get a very small pool (the old GO pool)

I always take chocolate as gifts and declare it on the customs form sometimes with no issues.

One thing I missed out from my recent trip, I must have been in denial or something. Do not bother with the Mob Experience in the Tropicana. It is not finished being built anyway and I'm afraid it is just a poor, poor, poor experience. It is also a very long walk from the strip being tucked away somewhere in the back of the complex.

The Tropicana itself is starting to look mighty swish and there is a lot of money being spent. The external areas were still in heavy refurb mode, The pools and surrounding areas will look pretty amazing when finished. Certainly a massive improvement since the last time I was in there 4 years ago.

We went to Casa Di Amore for DH in Nov & loved it! Great food, lovely staff-our waitress hugged us goodbye when we left! Limo was fab too. I'd recommend the place without a doubt.

According to this (Customs and Border Protection):

    http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/newsroom/highlights/travel_news/bring_it_home.xml

    generally it's fine.

"Bakery items, candy, chocolate, and cured cheese are generally admissible."

Just read on that link, is it right we need to declare fruit? So if I take apple with me on board and don't eat it during flight I have to declare it and have it inspected?
Sorry to have silly question but haven't been to US before:o

Lol are you sure about that link ;)

    You mean mlife.com

This is a forum running joke
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
