Its just a couple of blocks from Fremont street, I have only driven past it. As Stoneman says there is just a chainlink fence round it so you can see in.

Reminded me of a Scrap Yard (which of course, is what it is, but for neon signs as opposed to cars)

Just looked on website and I think it is the Boneyard you can see and walk round from the outside, but there maybe a building housing displays as well (not sure)

I'm sure it would have been Southwest airlines.

We're heading from Vegas to San Diego too following our Vegas wedding in September.

We thought about flying, but I think we've decided to hire a car instead.
I had planned on booking our vegas hotel pretty soon, I had thought Flamingo but my boyfriend really wants to stay in the Mirage, but when looking at all the offers on they only seem to go up to September and we aren't going until November. Should we just wait another month or two until the november offers starts before we book?
Also, as we're flying from Las Vegas to San Diego it's costing about £105 for the two of us at the minute, and that was looking on skyscanner. I can't for the life of me remember the websie that someone told me to use on here for internal us flights, but I looked yesterday and they only go up until September. Should I also wait for that, or is the price not likely to change?

Thankyou Pebblesmax and Stoneman. I have already sent a request for a tour. Just thought it would be a way to pass the time with the kids. It asks for a minimum donation of $15 per person, hopefully that's just foe the adults otherwise it'll be a bit steep.

I'd forgotten about In n Out Burger, I shall add it to my places to eat list!

It is situated at the entrance of Cashman field between Bonanza and Washington. Kids under 12 are free. You will need transport though as it's a fair way out. Someone on here will advise if a bus runs out there.
Actually we might take a run out there in May as they have now made it a proper attraction with car parking and neon lighting at night.
I always wondered why Vegas seems to be so slow at promoting it's obvious sights. It's only a couple of years ago that they finally got around to putting a car park at the Vegas sign, until then you had to park half on the central reservation and run out to grab a snap. And they have finally started to landscape that reservation with fake turf and flowers, it used to be such an eyesore, not a very good advert for people coming off of the freeway and having their first sight of the place
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

For anyone thinking of the Trop here is a comment from someone who stayed last week about the state of the pool construction

Just make sure the pool is ready, they were still building it when I was there this week. They told me it was to be ready for June. They also told me two months ago that the construction would not bother the guests.....The result: construction noise starting at 5:45 AM. Every morning. Lots of noise from the airport on that side of the tower too.

!!!!!! !! I am booked there for the 3rd June, i thought the pool would be completed in April (the new pool this is!)

You saying there is no pool at all available at the mo ?! :(

I believe the pool at Tropicana is scheduled to open in around a week or so. It was due to open on the 15th/18th, I forget which, but it was pushed back a week due to unfavourable weather.

Groupon are having a laugh with this one, and people have actually bought it!! Note doesn't even include the resort fee.
