haven't delved into it too much, but the above price quotes seem to be WRONG... (were on a netflights email)

did 9th May --> 18th May, 2 adults return from Heathrow --> Vegas

Coming out at £435.33 using United or Continental on Netflights!!! :)

Great price and a good time of year to go :)

    I only got 100 miles :(
these have now landed in my account so you can definitely still do it even if you're outside of the USA :) (despite T&C's) - i expect if you picked up the top prize they may refuse you due to T&C's but lets face it, that's not going to happen ;):D

Whats the deal with the Buffet places ?
At a guess, am I right to think that all the big buffet places are inside the hotels?
If so, how does it work (as opposed to Ponderosa and Golden Corral in Florida)....
Is it a case of say pay $30 each to go munch at one of the nice hotels, and the food could be a mixture of nice super sweet steaks ? and Baby back Ribs, nice chicken stuff, etc etc etc ?

Would'nt mind going to one when i am there, happy to pay whatever, but would be nice to have all the super nice foods in front of u, and being able to eat just a small bit from each section would sort me! :) (then again, i'm a Ribs and Steak kinda guy!)

you have answered it your self, but there is a HUGE difference in quality, circus circus is cheap, quality not great, excalibur does a 24hr pass for $25? but reviews are not great, there was some photos a couple of weeks ago of buffet in cosmo which looked fantastic, there is a couple of good places downtown as well a nice steak and lobster buffet.

    a) Yes, that's $5/spin
    b) No, we do NOT normally play $5/spin but had some 'mad money' won on a few scratchcards in the UK we changed to $$ before we left - this was the result of $40 in.
    c) Yes, it was ridiculously exciting and we both screamed like schoolgirls at a Justin Bieber concert. ;)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

am definitely going to check out the Cosmopolitan one, have read nothing but good things about it. Can also recommend the buffet at the Aria... only tried the breakfast buffet there (twice! :D), but it was fantastic, great quality food, great service and the biggest selection of foods I've ever seen! Think the breakfast buffet was about $20, and a weekend champagne breakfast buffet was about $30.

but in essence, you've got it in one... pay your $20, get seated, go and help yourself to as much as you like, as often as you like... table staff will come round and keep you topped up with juice/coffee, etc.

There is usually a row of chefs freshly slicing beef or turkey, trays of food keeping hot eg chinese or braised beef or soup or wings, plus salads, lobster etc. No need to fill your plate to the top as you can keep going back.

Anyone else see Extreme Engineering on Quest on Sunday? Was all about building the Palazzo.

Everyone usually says "stay Palazzo rather than Venetian as its newer".......what I didnt know is that every room in Venetian was gutted in the few months before Palazzo opened, and everything replaced eg beds, curtains, tellys, bathrooms, tables, chairs.
