We have already given them all this info which is why I have told her not to stress, the company Hayes & Jarvis I think have put the fear of god into her!!! I know about the ESTA, thats on my list as soon as I receive them, was just annoyed I couldn't get them for free before September, not so :money:

I have done an online tracking info tonight so hopefully will have some info tomorrow, it was August she told us, we are going on 8th April

Fingers crossed, think because she is stressing, its making me worse, I also spoke to a friend of a work colleague who works in a travel agent, she says she has done the ESTA for people within 3 day of departure but I am not taking a chance, I have already got travel insurance done thru quidco :money:

Thanks so much for all your advice, maybe I will sleep better tonight giving all this positive info :D:A

We are staying in the Luxor, Pyramid and I have maps etc of the cheapest places to eat etc as the other 11 in the party are not bothering but I like to be organised !!!!

    keep us updated

    Hello all
    Long time no see

Not been around much due to illness, family probs and very little time to spare
Not going to Vegas this year...boo hoo...Financially I don't think it's on the cards as we are doing a cruise for our Silver Wedding in July so that's our main holiday plus a couple of 1 weekers in Spain if the pennies will strech...
Anyway looking at returning to Vegas May 2012 and can't wait

I've just had an email telling me that I can take TWO dogs to Caesars PH Paris etc etc. The thought of loads of pampered pooches in Vegas hotels is mind boggling.
"Guests participating in the PetStay program are greeted by several canine-friendly in-room amenities including a mat, food and water dishes, disposable waste bags and dog treats.
Each PetStay resort hosts a designated PetStay area within the hotel, equipped with welcome packets that direct guests to outdoor relief areas and dog walking routes. Additional Information about dog-friendly items for purchase and nearby dog services (such as grooming, walking and veterinary care) is available upon check-in at each of the participating resorts.

    Policy
PetStay resorts each have the following pet policy:
    • Dogs staying at any of the participating hotels must weigh 50 pounds or less and be present at the time of check- in.
    • Up to 2 dogs per room are allowed
    • Dogs are permitted to walk through designated common areas while on a leash and accompanied by the owner. "
Im looking forward to hearing some shaggy dog stories.

I can't imagine a less appropriate place to take a dog then Vegas...............unless it's really for those silly little teacup pooches beloved by Paris Hilton and co.

Flamingo has dog rooms too but never seen a hound at either on any stay

Oh well, after looking at the weather forecast 2 days before leaving and finding that the temps had dropped enough for us to ditch the shorts and bikinis in favour of coats and hoodies, I now find myself sitting in the heat of the pool area of the Platinum with drink in hand and rubbing sun lotion on for the last 2 days. Trip to the shops to buy said shorts and bikinis has resulted in a little further expense but hey ho, don't you just love the weather man.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
