VA Flights can be great with Miles & Money.

With regards to VA Holidays, I've checked many times over the past three years and never seen a deal even close to the prices I pay.

This has been ongoing for some years. Its not a limited offer.
If you look at the flying club membership benefits you will see,

Virgin Holidays: Take the hassle out of your holidays; when you book with Virgin Holidays you'll enjoy 5% off**, you'll also have the option to earn 2 miles for every £1 spent.

Thanks for these Luci. Deals are certainly thinner on the ground this year!

Does anyone know the script with or best strategies for taking an iphone abroad? I've heard about massive roaming charges being applied when the phone hasn't even been used which I'm keen to avoid. We'll get wifi in our room though so I thought it might be as well to have the phones with us. We usually pop a few texts back and forward when we're on holiday with the people at home but we can email just as happily should that be the best option. I'll need to figure out what to do with skype as well as that's still a mystery. It's Tesco Mobile if that makes any difference. Any advice appreciated...

    Cheers,

    Billy

more often than not, there are discounts of 5% or 10% off through booking online with VH anyway. Still find them more expensive than booking DIY

Never had a problem with mine wherever Ive been in the world. Just go int osettings and turn data roaming off and only use wi-fi for any net related activities. Install skype and use that for calls while hooked up to a wlan

There's not much to figure out regarding skype. Setup a skype account, bung in a few £££ credit, install the app and away you go
