.....And I'll try to remember to take some photos of the casino carpets in a few weeks, so we can play guess the casino again :rotfl:
Thanks WDYW - I've booked that Aria offer. We figured we want to see Viva Elvis so that works better for us then we're not tied trying to spend $50 there every day. So, I now have a Ballys and an Aria reservation for the 2nd half of our trip. Still really want a good offer at the Venetian though before I decide which I'm cancelling.....:rotfl:
So did we!
In all the times we have been to Vegas we have never ever been to a show (not counting the first time I in Vegas with a ports team and we went to some dodgy show that we were chucked out from for heckling the compere too much, and of course concerts), just not interested in them at all, so strangely enough we are quite looking forward to it.
With the offer, did you suss out that you can get Friday and Saturday nights at $139 also? Use the other offer and it suddenly becomes a very cheap weekend at a top notch hotel
So $139 a night add on tax and resort fee - $50 a day resort credit (and the food options at Aria are excellent)0 -

There are some fab shows. We're looking forward to Elvis too. I wanted to see it last April but it was still in-the-making.....
I didn't suss out how to manipulate the dates, but if you can share how, I can always re-book and save a few $$$.Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -

Any chance of a rough idea of your dates (don't want to put up too much if it doesn't work...) It worked for us last summer at the ARia and worked for our booking this summer.
Also, don't forget - you need to ring up the Aria with 72 hours to confirm the day you want the tickets for.0 -
Anybody off to Vegas April?
Two of us are staying @ MGM Grand & the Cosmo in our mid 20's!!0 -

We were on the Sky in November and never noticed, but we will be sure to look out for them on our return this year. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
SeptemberSorry didn;t mean to come across as narky regarding US Airways, hehe, I read it back and was like uh-oh!!
Ummmm, so very mixed reviews ranging from the best flight someone has ever been on to the worst! The flight we are looking at connects in Charlotte (not sure where this is) and the plane is an Airbus A330-300 wide body jet, followed by a narrow body jet for the internal leg. For £522 I reckon we'll just go for it.
As for hotels, we are considering the following (via lowcostusa/expedia);
IP 3 nights @ £63
Golden Nug 3 nights @ £170
Wynn Panoramic view 4 nights @ 558 (we stayed in this room last time and all I can say it WOW!!)
Cosmo 4 nights @ £424
TOTAL £1,215
OR
Golden Nug 3 nights @ £166 (Rush Tower room)
Paris 3 nights @ 272
Encore 4 nights @ 350
Cosmo 4 nights @ £424
TOTAL £1,212
Not a lot between them, any thoughts?0 -
