MarchDefo MGM (you can just make out the lions head in the circle)
Hey, I never noticed that before...hmmmm...now I'm going to be looking down at the carpet the whole time we're at MGM going 'look, see, lions!'Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
November / DecemberThere's is also a second Aria offer at the moment where instead of $50 a day in resort credit you get 2 free Elvis tickets (and a 1 off $50 resort credit)...minimum stay 2 nights. If a two day stay is on the cards ...maybe a better deal for some, for longer stays I'd got with the $50 a day. Manipulating the Aria booking system still works to get you $139 a night over the weekend.
oh, the other Aria deal also has the deluxe view rooms (king bed) at $139 rather than their cheapest rooms. $50 to upgrade to the corner suite (but not with view)

MayYep showed hubby the pic and the first question was, "Which casino?" Me - "MGM, check the carpet". Second question, "Where in MGM?" That had me stumped, but looking a second time, I agree it's near the Lion Habitat and Sports Book.0

OctoberYeah those doors with the signs above them look like the corner of the Lion Habitat to me (I think) you can just make out the little wall whats around it with the plants in.0

OH and me really like the slower pace and the bigger rooms. I'm tempted by a Go Room at Flamingo though. If you've stayed in both, can you give me some pro's and con's........
I also like that I can pretty much always find $5 (table poker) tables at Ballys, but not sure what limits are like at Flamingo. Any advice between the 2 appreciated.....
Anyone?
.....And I'll try to remember to take some photos of the casino carpets in a few weeks, so we can play guess the casino again :rotfl:
Thanks WDYW - I've booked that Aria offer. We figured we want to see Viva Elvis so that works better for us then we're not tied trying to spend $50 there every day. So, I now have a Ballys and an Aria reservation for the 2nd half of our trip. Still really want a good offer at the Venetian though before I decide which I'm cancelling.....:rotfl:Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0
