AugustSorry to hijack the thread again guys but just thought I would update you all with my work around to this saga.
We have since placed a reservation with booking.com for the exact same package as the one on tigerhotels. The package was £250 more expensive but we have got them to price match the tigerhotels price and I have just had confirmation that they will honor the price match. :T
Thanks again for all your help guys, I'm sure this wont be the last time I ask cap in hand for your collective pearls of wisdom.
@Duchy, I will post a trip report when we get back, you only have to wait 8 months for it :rotfl:
Thtas great getting the price match, do you know if you are still going to get your free breakfasts though.
Plus...I wonder what a free breakfast consists of at the Cosmo?0 -
JuneBut if you do ring Virgin and ask them if you can hang a wedding dress in the cockpit -please post and let us know what they say
hehe, i dont think the board will allow that kind of language!!!!!
If by chance they said they would hang it up somewhere, how would we get it to the plane ? just carry it as if it were hand luggage ?0 -

The lady I saw just carried like hand luggage, but I'd let the airline know in advance. I expect they may allow you to carry this plus a piece of luggage on if they know about it in advance.thanks :T

From what the guys here said, the Stripburger ones are available for a short time on the first day of each month, so try on 1st March throughout the day. They'll go fast. I got mine on 1st Feb, so hopefully you're not travelling before then
I haven't bought one yet for Hash House a Go Go, but I'm still tempted......Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -

SeptemberWhen you use vouchers for restaurant.com....well for example for Sergios it's a $25 voucher with $35 minimum spend. For 2 of us, 2 pastas and a shared starter is about $25. Can we spend the other $10 on drinks to get up to $35, or are drinks excluded?
Also, how long are the vouchers valid? I assume they're printable for us UK folks to be able to do this easily?0 -
JuneThere's an indoor skydiving place that is fun
I mentioned that to DH a while ago because it was featured on a t.v documentary. Looks great fun, appeals more to me than actually jumping out of a plane. Bad enough sitting on one for 10 hours lol.
BTW I did ask this question a little while ago, but has anybody gone prospectin' for that there gold?? Dying to have a go at that, may do better at that than on the slotsBEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

The terms vary by restaurant on whether drinks are included in the minimum spend...sometimes the terms state specifically whether they can or cannot be used toward the minimum spend, but the general T&Cs say it's at the restaurant's discretion.
The voucher do not expire and yes, you print them - they do not post anything to you.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
