on a brighter note I won a £50 prize last night at the pool in the 12 days of Christmas draw for charity. a beauty treat would have been good but got a 5 day pass for the pool so can give to sons when they are home:)
used Lush RUB rub rub in shower,it said you can use on your hair if you are in a hurry!....DON'T moine feels like straw today:rotfl:
Well he's agreed but wait until we get an appointment and then we'll see how serious he was about doing it.
I'm sorry you're having even more trouble with your hubby, that wasn't nice of him to say you should stay in the spare room. What if you wrote down how you feel to give to him, would he do the same back? I sometimes feel that I can't actually say how I feel but if I had to I could probably write it down. It might give you both something to work on. When I tried to get to the bottom of things with my hubby I asked him to tell me what was wrong and when he didn't give me an answer I asked him how was I expected to put things right if I don't know what's wrong. I still haven't found out the full extent of things so hopefully will do when we start the counselling.Did owe £9,951.96

2 use ups
Nivea body lotion (for very dry skin) - wiba maybe. It left a lovely sheen on the skin (great) so took ages to absorb (mmm grumble). Have lots of other body butters so it will be a while before any spend anyway.
Body Shop seaweed SPF moisturiser - wiba yep. I only have 1 un-opened tube and 1 spluttering tube left.
So that's another £2 in the pot for using stuff up.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Body Shop Blue Corn Mask - WIBA? Definitely, this is the only face mask that I've found that I like. Need to wait until it's on offer though....
No 7 Protect & Perfect Serum - WIBA? no need to - have another full size tube in the stash plus half a dozen sample sized ones and it lasts for ages.
Goodness, they've been making that for a good few years! :eek:Trying_really_hard wrote: »Evening all.
One "in" for me - Head & Shoulders shampoo. Necessary as it makes my hair soft.
Hmm, a use-up of my favourite Priori AHA cleanser (wiba - yes HG for me). Using a substitute for now. I'll see how long before i react and break out.
This thread is really making me think before I part with my cash. :T
Excellent - mission accomplished for one member then....only the other 1097 of us to go now then! :rotfl:
OK - I have a quandary. My HG Lip Balm is Avon's Dry Skin SOS one, which sadly is now discontinued. However, I have just spotted that it is in Rep's clearance this campaign coming.
OH has said that if I want to order a coupole of them he will buy them for me.
:) My quandary is to decide whether :
a) I should take him up on his offer even though I have other lip balms in my stash
b) I should take him up on his offer but should put the unopened Avon lip balm (a different type) into my "free gifts for customers" box or
c) I should work on the basis that, from here onwards, I will have to find an alternative for what is a superb product, so better that I just bite the bullet and get on with it.
Answers on a postcard please......:D

Well my resolve not to shop to cheer myself up has been sorely tested this week.
Pranged my car Saturday, got a fine for forgetting to validate my tube ticket today and.....this one will bring a tear to your eye....found out I had won £1,000 in a competition yesterday but because my house is so full of clutter I hadn't noticed and the closing date to claim my prize was July 2010.:(:(:(:(:(
I'm trying to be strong........you guys on here are helping me....! :T
I'm valuing the important things in life like my family friends and pets.....but I may have to go and play with my S&G box to heal properly.....!!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -

Some great tips there on paying debts and making extra cash, i'll have another read back through them later on and see if I can steal anything......

No UU for me today though, although hubby has said that we 'might' run out of toothpaste tomorrow  (didn't have heart to mention that I have a stash of it cos of my mother) I did tell him, that if he uses the last of any toiletries, its a quid in the pot :rotfl: look on his face priceless......

The nonsense about the date for the Boots 75% sale is starting to annoy me. It'll be really inconvenient having to make daily early morning trips to Boots if it doesn't start tomorrow:(Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
Two unexpected ins today. Told a work colleague, after seeing that she was placing an Avon order, that I had some men's facial scrub she could have for her other half as I wasn't going to use it. She then came back from lunch with a BS white musk body mist and white musk perfume for me. Hopefully though I do have less stuff in my stash as I pulled out a lipstick and perfume she can have if she wants them. So 2 ins and hopefully 3 outs.Did owe £9,951.96

I have an IN to report...some lavender essential oil but as I am using this for cleaning and washing clothes, I dont want to class it as a toiletry! Haha
No UU but Im getting there.
Also been told that hair conditioner thats spare (I have had all myhair cu off so dont use conditioner anymore) can be used as fabric conditioner! Use an empty fabric conditioner bottle, fill with the left over conditioner, top with water and use as normal

So by looking at what I have the most of - Foundation and Bronzer - clearly these must be my biggest concern. On the positive front --- I'm spluttering on quite a few foundations (one of the Collection 2000 Mineral powder ones which won a Beauty Bible Beauty Steals award/mention and the Tesco one and the Laura Geller one).
Need to buy:
Clinique spot clearing gel - thankfully I now get less spots but it's handy stuff. Will look out for a Gift with Purchase offer.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
