Glad to see so many UU! Well done, wish my stash was getting smaller!
I've had some bad news about a close family member today. I normally perk myself up with a body butter or make-up but Obviously I don't want to buy anything! So my question is, how do you ladies cheer yourselves up?
Sorry to hear you've had bad new - these are exactly the sort of tests the challenge will throw out and the times when it's most important to be strong. Why don't you get all your pretty stuff out and arrange it on a table and enjoy looking at it and choosing which ones to use next?Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -

Sorry to hear you've had bad news. As for cheering up, choclate is always a favourite of course! If you don't want to stray too far off healthy eating quite so early in the new year though, as others have said baking is good, and there are always healthy options. If you've not got the patience for "regular" bread then you could always try Soda Bread instead. Pampering sessions are always good - how about the whole works, hair wash & deep condition, face deep cleanse and mask, cream on hands and feet and then pop on cotton gloves while it soaks in, then finish off with finger & toe nail varnish?juliebunny wrote: »So, if I take back an item to a shop which is non toiletry (unsuitable Christmas gift), and exchange it for a nice smelly, does that count as having failed the challenge.....? Is there a moritorium for the Boots 75% off sale too.......:rotfl:Soooooorry! :rotfl:
As for the Boots 75% sale - I've been determinedly thinking that I "must" go and take a look, until earlier on when I suddenly though "Why? There's nothing I need or want!" so I shan't bother!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Evening all
I hope you are all having a lovely day.
I have been a good girl again today. I had the whole day off work. I have not been out therefore I have not spent any money or added to my stash
I have also left the naughty step as a little fairy came along and told me that ordering discontinued HG items was to be encouraged :T:T
I have no use ups or splutters to report either.
Have a good evening

FINALLY - 2 UUs to report
Body Shop Blue Corn Mask - WIBA? Definitely, this is the only face mask that I've found that I like. Need to wait until it's on offer though....
No 7 Protect & Perfect Serum - WIBA? no need to - have another full size tube in the stash plus half a dozen sample sized ones and it lasts for ages.£2012 in 2012 Challenge £2051.06£2013 in 2013 Challenge £500 -
Thanks for all the lovely ideas! I've decided to hunt through my stash for something extra nice to use and then bake in the morning!
And all the money I would've spent on toiletries/cosmetics can be use on pretty cupcake decorations!Saving all my pennies0 -
Sorry to hear about you bad news PP. Hope things get a little better soon.
I forgot about two UU's for last month (no idea why?!?). Ted Baker Lippy Kit which was a gift from last xmas and unused. I have passed it to a friend in need as I have plenty to choose from. Also another UU Listerine Mouthwash 200mls. Still have some bigger bottles in my stash.

Hugs PP, I hope you find something lovely in your stash.
Three UU's for me today -
Radox sleeptherapy bubble bath, WIBA, no. It was in a sale and was a lavender scent, I hate lavender. Lovely and thick however.
Fairtrade foot lotion sample, WIBA, no. I still have two left and I don't like it at all. I prefer to use charity pot on my feet so these will not be replaced.
Charity pot body lotion, WIBA, yes! Its my HG body lotion and I use it daily, especially on my problem legs. However I do have a pot of dream cream open but its no good for my legs. I will no doubt replace this in the next week or so.
I also now have five black pots so will get a free mask when I next go to Lush :T I love thier cupcake mask but they are expensive for so this is a great treat
Have a great week all :A0 -
Hey I have 2 UUs for today/yesterday.
Noticed My spa sanctuary body scrub had been finished by OH - still £1 in money box. WIBA - no. Have a full size one in the other bathroom so will get around to using that too.
Also noticed one perfum was empty when I was checking after I joined the thread. -
SJP NYC. WIBA - yes! But not until I have used up all my other perfumes. This one was empty as I had used it the most, also the last bought.
There's a few other things I can begin to UU soon.Former Debt free wannabe. Now trying to save for a rainy day!0 -
Evening all.
One "in" for me - Head & Shoulders shampoo. Necessary as it makes my hair soft.
Hmm, a use-up of my favourite Priori AHA cleanser (wiba - yes HG for me). Using a substitute for now. I'll see how long before i react and break out.
This thread is really making me think before I part with my cash. :THow long til pay day?
March Grocery Challenge - £69.54 / £3000 -
3 UU's up for me today, all travel size though!
- Loreal day moisturiser
- Loreal night moisturiser
- Crabtree&Evelyn showel gel
WIBA? Nope. The Loreal stuff was too rich, and the shower gel smelt too manly for me! :rotfl:
I'm ploughing through my travel shower gels at moment cos I'm exercising 5 times a week so having 2 showers a day!!
One IN this week - hairdye, Nice&Easy Foam one- an essential as I need to dye my hair monthly cos I have grey bits. But it's the only item I'm buying at mo til my stash has gone!
