    Hello ladies and gent

One small UU for me today, Nivea Q10 Firming Body Lotion free sample. WIBA? Don't think so, I prefer a thicker cream rather than a lotion although it rubbed in easily with no residue and smelt ok.

Also bought my clip lock tub for my Coalface soap - it was very MSE as half price in the supermarket :T. Have now dispensed with my dodgy sandwich bag and my shiny new tub is nestling happily in the bathroom cabinet. Thanks so much for the suggestion:)

Hi All. It's been good fun reading all your threads and checking out what everyone uses (nosey moi?). Thanks for the heads up on the Clinique mascaras - will look into this more.

Reading this thread reminded me that we have the new Avon brocure and as I'm nearly out of night cream (when I say nearly I have about two squeezes left of my Elemis Pro Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream, about half a tube of Elemis Moisture Day Cream and half a pot of Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference that I can use!) I was wondering if there are any Avon night creams that anyone can recommend. They're all half price at the mo.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Think I may have to include cosmetics into my ban on buying toiletries because I must have at least 20 eyeshadow palettes (mac/bobbi brown/urban decay)

Girl after my own heart! Palettes are my biggest temptation. I wear low key neutrals most days as well. What are we like eh? :o:D
Good idea Jacks plus you support a local independent one rather than Boots which seem to be taking over everywhere. And every time I've used them for prescriptions, even simple ones, they b*ggar things up. Our local independent one is now like a mate

I didn't even think about that angle. I agree on both counts.

Most certainly agree ! If one *was* to buy these things they'd be foolish to buy them elsewhere !

I have a mountain of stuff as well - had a bit of a mini binge on Clinique for Men things off ebay for a while, and could never resist new haircare products for a long period of time, either. Terrible !!

Ladies (and honorary gent!) is there room for a little one ?!
Phew, am I pleased I am not the only one that has a positive hoard of stuff. After reading this thread, last night I went through mine and cba listing it all (and because I'd feel very silly !) But blow me down - it was a LOT ! Mainly guilty of buying shampoos and conditioners, body shop shower gel, body butter, scrubs, and lots of high end skincare from QVC - damn them for tempting me at night when I have had a glass of wine or two :rotfl:. I don't think I will need to buy any hair products for the best part of this year - and I wash it every other day  I also have a large hoard of make-up - I wouldn't mind, but it's a push to get chance to just put on mascara and lipgloss before I get to work - so not as if I am going to get through it fast !

    Wish me luck !

Well I just want to say thank you for this thread as it is encouraging me to have a nice long bath in the evenings instead of just jumping in and out of the shower! And I finally have some use ups to report

A "simple pleasures" travel sized shower gel in "angel food cake" scent, I got this from my boyfriend in a gift box from house of frasers, it also had a matching body lotion and 2 other scents mini shower gel/body lotions, and I forced myself to use this one first as it doesn't smell anything like cake to me, it smells like BOVRIL :rotfl: have been using big massive blobs of it to try and use it up fast and finally managed it today!!

Also a dove pro age bubble bath, WIBA? Yes I love the dove range, really makes you feel clean

And I threw out a YSL eyeliner today as it seems to have totally given up, WIBA? NEVER, ONE OF THE MOST USELESS MAKE UP ITEMS I HAVE EVER BOUGHT!! And it was damn expensive too, very small brush so hard to make lines with, , and just seemed really dry really quickly?! So that's in the bin, not very mse but it was useless :(

No UU today, but went shopping in Swansea today, and returned some S&G that I won't use (scrub your nose, I think) and swopped it for for some Sure deodarent. I'm on my last bottle of deodarent so think this is ok, feel good anyway. Also managed to walk straight pass the toiletry ailse in Asda too....Woohoo
    :hello:No more toiletries challenge :T

  • Hello all,
