Thanks for the heads up Mad_Scientist, cant wait for my Avon order now!
LOL EH!
Andy your a brave man! Welcome aboard!0 -
The positive - bought a sealed savings tins (from PDSA charity shop) reduced to 70p. So every time I use up a product I will drop a quid in there and save towards a lovely treatment at the local salon.
The negative - I caved and ordered the Avon Cashmere soft foundation - on offer for £4 instead of £11 odd quid. Damn, damn, damn! So budge up on that naughty step. Trots off to dig out my stash list...Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Im a huge fan of cheapy baby oil on my soaking skin when I turn the shower off (or step out of bath) then popping a towel round me as normal - it works sooooo wonderfully well and keeps me well moisturised for days! Its cheap too and lasts for ages!
Last night I added a few drops of coconut perfume oil to the baby oil and jeeze I smell good! Hehe
Both store cupboard ingredients - Also not planning on using baby oil on baby, so the collections people have bought for my baby means I git a stash
Coconut perfume oil and other perfume oils are all from body shop - £6.50 per bottle, but last forever!

Hi all, sal good idea not using baby oil on baby as its a mineral oil and not great for delicate skin. If you want to massage baby a good one is grapeseed or any other cold pressed oils, be careful with nut based ones for obvious reasons. Not sure how old your tot is, but olive oil is great for dry skin and cradle cap too, bit of uesless/ful info lol.
Well no use ups yet but am loving my Sanctuary Mela body butter, i could eat itit smells so great and my skin is loving it.
Well hoping your all ok and for the op ho had a bad day, remember its just like dieting, tomorrows a new day;).
Take care all

Radox roll on deodorant is spluttering.
Going to go through my stash and sort out samples/ small bottles that I can take on holiday. OH just booked us in for a late deal in 3 weeks time for some winter sun.
Have a nice night everyoneLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

I've discovered another bonus to not buying toiletries - time. Lush sent their 'buying edition' catamag through. I read the articles (interesting) but I didn't browse the products, other than to find out the name of that cowing useless 2 in 1 solid shampoo and conditioner that I posted about earlier. (Godiva.)
I didn't browse the shelves in T*sco either. Nor will I, for the rest of this year.
I'm not a Boots or Superdrug browser anyway, but I was a Savers browser ... and Home Bargains toiletries ...Wilkinsons ... Poundshops.... I'm liberated!:jErma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Hope we're all well??
Nothing to report really, except I went to Asda at lunch and walked straight past all toiletries...... It was painful though
Cant remember who mentioned Boss Femme, but my mum bought me a bottle for Christmas and I have to admit its my new favourite....
I've been looking at this Avon cashmere foundation and wondering whether to buy some to try while its on offer.... I'm not a foundation buyer and only buy it as I need it really, although i have an almost full L'Oreal true match roll on to finish.... but its only 4 quid...... :embarasseChallenges - repay all credit cards by end of 2015Starting the savings for retirement :rotfl:

Hi all,
Can't believe how fast the thread is moving, can tell it's the start of a new year!! Well I've finally managed to go through my toiletries stash - 239 items and that's not including nail polishes or make-up :eek::eek: There's far too many to list so will just state UUs as and when and also start a HG list in the process, so if/when I manage to get through it all I know what items I'll want to buy!! Also going with the £1 per UU pot too and putting the date of last bought toiletries in my sig (hope you don't mind the blantant copying of someone else's great idea!)
Has any got any ideas for using up baby powder(talc) - got some as presents for my little un when he was born but don't want to use them on him.
