I got Dashing Lassies as a present too! it's lovely.

Think I may have to include cosmetics into my ban on buying toiletries because I must have at least 20 eyeshadow palettes (mac/bobbi brown/urban decay)

And probably twice as many again lipsticks,

Which is crazy because i only wear neutral eyes and lips for work anyway?!?

I can't believe how fast this board has been moving. It's taken me ages to catch up.

No more UU to report:( will have a nice pampering session this evening so hopefully!

yeah - I have Urban Decay vol 2, alice in wonderland, I heart NY, and 2 others...... that's just the Urban Decay ones

I am quite good for doing different looks though

My weakness is Poundland - I must avoid at all costs! :)

Most certainly agree ! If one *was* to buy these things they'd be foolish to buy them elsewhere !

I have a mountain of stuff as well - had a bit of a mini binge on Clinique for Men things off ebay for a while, and could never resist new haircare products for a long period of time, either. Terrible !!
  • well ive finally caught up , nothing to report . however i like that this thread is actually helping me pamper myself more.

    I've had a bad day. :(

Bought Sally Hansen hard as nails as I have a vertical split that won't go away. Let's hope this stuff works.

My friend at work brought in her latest Avon catalogue. Bought purple nail varnish and foundation.

    :(:(:(

Not the shade called "Decadance" by any chance? You'll love it if so - fantastic colour! :D
    Welcome all newbies!

Just wanted to say thanks for the support and I am on day 5 of No Smoking! As a little treat to myself I have ordered a gel eyeliner from Avon as it got rave reviews (someone may tell me different?!)

I am glad the S & G value set at Boots went out of stock as I kept looking at it but the newsletter says its back on Monday!!! I must avoid!

Well done with the smoking thing AT - that's brilliant! I reckon we can let you off the eyeliner - I've heard good things about those too!

Ladies, it would appear that all this pampering has paid off - as unless I am very much mistaken......

Slap me hard and put me on the naughty step :o

I've just popped over to Perfume Parlour and *accidently* bought 3 new oils for £7. Its not like I haven't got enough fragrances already. These 3 will make a total of, I think, 26. Some genuine, some PP types.
It was a friends fault tho really, I was looking at her perfume collection and she has YSL Nu, in a really funky bottle, I have a squirt of it, declare I want some. You can't, says friend, its discontinued. So I trawl the 'net and find that she is, in fact, right. There's only 1 bottle available anywhere and that's on Ebay, at £25ish with 2 bids and 8 days to go:( I know, I think to myself, I'll see if lovely Amir has it. And he does:j:j:j, he also has Lady Million and Ed Hardy. And soon so will I:o:T:D

    I apologise.

    And hello Andy

  • I recieved my Boots vouchers through the post today, I'm considering binning them to try and avoid temptation but having said that what if??

    welcome Andy...
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

Ladies (and honorary gent!) is there room for a little one ?!
Phew, am I pleased I am not the only one that has a positive hoard of stuff. After reading this thread, last night I went through mine and cba listing it all (and because I'd feel very silly !) But blow me down - it was a LOT ! Mainly guilty of buying shampoos and conditioners, body shop shower gel, body butter, scrubs, and lots of high end skincare from QVC - damn them for tempting me at night when I have had a glass of wine or two :rotfl:. I don't think I will need to buy any hair products for the best part of this year - and I wash it every other day  I also have a large hoard of make-up - I wouldn't mind, but it's a push to get chance to just put on mascara and lipgloss before I get to work - so not as if I am going to get through it fast !

    Wish me luck !
