And hope you're ok lynseydee xx:AQueen_of_NO_MATTER_WHAT wrote: »I'm laying here battling with myself to get in the shower because when I get out I'll have to use my S&G lite body lotion and I hate itit's just too runny for me, takes ages to soak in and doesn't leave me feeling as soft afterwards like body butter.
- slathering loads on your feet tonight and popping some socks on
- get a back rub (preferably from someone you know and trust) with some of it
- or chucking it?
I'm battling with the MUA bronzers and they were only a quid each. I really have to work with a subtle hand otherwise things look very odd. *sighs*Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Hi everyone,
Can I join too please. I started reading the thread back last April and have been slowly using things up with only buying shampoo and deoderant. Lots of lovely ins at Christmas but need to keep to not buying anything new.0 -
Hi everyone!
I have just registered a MS account so I can join in with this forum, it is exactly what I need! I have so much toiletry stuff that I don't think I'll ever use it all up and would like to put more money into my savings this year instead.
I think that all I will need to buy this year (and next!) is toothpaste, deodorant, face wipes and Lush tea tree water so if I can stick to that it will be a very cheap year (and a miracle!).
Fingers crossedNo more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins0 -
welcome all the newbies - my goodness us lot can gossip !!! if we all went on holiday together we'd need at least a week before we drew breath !!!!!
no ins for me again - still havent got to the shops yet to get shampoo.
and THANKYOU for everyone who has persuaded me to go get my brows threaded - will report back !!!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

I'm laying here battling with myself to get in the shower because when I get out I'll have to use my S&G lite body lotion and I hate itit's just too runny for me, takes ages to soak in and doesn't leave me feeling as soft afterwards like body butter. It's more like perfumed lotion than anything else. Very tempted to chuck it (it was an carboot buy at 50p, unopened/unused) I'm half way through it and if I really slathered it on I could prob get through it in about a week. It's the only one I've got open at the mo since using the up the other 2 body butters I already had open, and I did say I'd use up what was open but these feels like torture! lol
I sympathise - I'm now about two thirds of the way through the awful Boots Royal Jelly one and hating it! My incentive for finishing it is that I will then go onto one of my sanctuary body butters!Queen_of_NO_MATTER_WHAT wrote: »same here! well not quite loathe there are other scrubs I prefer much more, but I have a huge one from the tote and mini one to use up...do they sell well on ebay?
I hope so!mad_scientist wrote: »Hi everyone!

Is it worth selling toiletries we're not keen on, on ebay??? I've often thought about it, but to be honest I never seem to make that much money on ebay, maybe i'm not selling the right stuff???
Welcome newbies - this thread works as i've not even wanted to look at buying any toiletries in the sales, although i might be tempted to have a look on Lush website to see what all the hype is aboutChallenges - repay all credit cards by end of 2015Starting the savings for retirement :rotfl:

Queen I had this problem last year with body lotions. Eventually I realised body lotions are much more pleasant to use in the summer months when the weather's warmer, as they can be sooo cold and wet to apply....! Why not put it away til summer and treat yourself to one of your butters instead?
Otherwise, I used up a really cheap and nasty lotion I had by putting a huge dollop in a small dish with a handful of salt, and using it as as a scrub in the shower (Gets rid of it extra quick, this way!!)0
