    Hello again

I've had some INs today, but it was mainly Boots fault :D. My OH got some socks from Boots for Christmas with characters on that he'll never wear, so I took them back to Boots and they agreed I could swap them for something else :T. I was surprised as no receipt, but hey ho who's to argue?! Anyway, they hardly had anything left so I was forced to change it for a Sanctuary gift set :o (which I'm keeping for me:o:o) .

I also got some mouthwash, but I needed that as on the last bit and no spares so doesn't count.

I did chuck 2 things away though, some Dove moisturising tanning stuff that didn't have much left but I'll never use it up and some Boots Spa moisturising oil that I'd been using (reluctantly) but it doesn't smell very nice and it's not moisturising enough for my scaly legs:rotfl:

Have finished my Body Shop olive oil shampoo - Yay :j

Will be going shopping tomorrow for a few sales bargains, have deliberately left it late in the hope that there won't be much left and I will not spend.

Please send vibes for no spending on toiletries please guys - :T

I got the mascara on the 3rd of jan, think it is on till about 16th but there should be a thread about it somewhere,it was a full size which surprised me as I thought it would be a tiny one....pity I threw out all my old ones in a decluttering frenzy recently, had to give up a gold one but hardly used it as did not show up very gold anyway, only have 2 mascaras on the go now so don't think will be able to get anymore but worth knowing that clinique do this offer and will save old ones for the future:)

Oooh, thanks for the tip-off. :T

I have too many INs to list from the last couple of months, feel a bit guilty that I CBA to do it. :o I am going to sort my entire stash though, just seeing it all in one place will put me off buying anything more!!!

And still I buy... I succumbed to the BS Moroccan Rose bath petals. 2 jars for £4.80 plus 79p cashback making them effectively £2 each, I couldn't resist! One's for me (I'll reuse the jar too) and one's for a gift stash. :)

Now to stay away from the Grabbit board!!!

Well done to everyone on UUs and resisting offers, good for you!

p.s. I must try brow threading sometime, I keep meaning to get it done. :)

Oh and I have 2 bottles of argan oil (bought in Morocco too!) that I must try out. I don't really know what to do with it so might try it as a night moisturiser or with the OCM.

Can I join please?! My toiletry habit has spiralled out of control and I have two double bathroom cupboards to use...eek. I can't resist cheapies in Home Bargains and Wilkos and have loads of things people have bought me! Currently have 10 bottles of perfume on the go...going to go and have an inventory now x

:T:j:beer:Welcome to the gang my lovely!:j:T:dance:

Can I join in as well? Scented bath stuff isn't really my thing, but I have enough perfume and make up to last me all year.

I won't be posting an inventory, even though I love other people's. I won't be posting many UUs either because it takes so long to use up a blusher or an EDP. I won't be buying anything that hasn't run out either though and that's the main thrust of this challenge isn't it? ;)

To do this I will be avoiding Grabbit!, QVC, Makeupalley, eBay, all perfume related message boards and department store beauty halls everywhere.

It will be very strange, but I'm going to have so much more money in my account. :)

Can I join too? I hardly ever buy anything expensive but I have loads of lotions and potions that I tried once or twice and didn't really like. I'd like to avoid buying anything in January and try to finish some of these up. Thanks to this thread I'm never buying hand wash or sink cleaner again. I'll just use the shampoos and shower gels I don't like. :rotfl:

I have a UU - S&G mini Righteous Butter - WIBIA probably not. Got sucked into the S&G hype and while some products are good, others I found are not. I have plenty of the larger Righteous Butter to use first but do prefer other body butters, like the FCUK one which I think really works and leaves my skin really soft.
In Tesco last night and thought I'd get a couple of their Vitamin E wipes, OMG can't believe how much they have increased in price, they used to be about 28p, now they are 49p, decided against them. Bought instead the value wipes at 27p, have used them before and work just as well.
Have sorted some things out to ebay and also chucked out some old opened products. Will need to have a look for an old mascara to swop for a Clinique one. :)
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Is the Clinique mascara thing advertised anywhere on the counter or do you have to ask? Also, can you only do one at a time?:rotfl:
  • Oh go on then. :o I can probably manage a month. I love this thread and lurk here a lot so I suppose I might as well see if I can do it for a month. I'm giving up alcohol and carbs for January so I may as well give up shopping for beauty products for four short weeks as well. I'm not in danger of running out of anything.

I'm strict with my diet and exercise so my treats for myself are almost always cosmetics. Maybe I'll read a book or watch a film instead? I'm always so cold and tired all the time at the moment, so a month of hibernating indoors wrapped up warm sounds really good to me. :)
