No Buying Toiletries in Jan 2011 !!!!

No purchases - Went into town today, did not go to jail I mean Superdrug - phew!
No use-ups - lots of stuff spluttering. Need to have a pamper session...
talking of which that would be great for all of us to help use up the stash - sunshineyday - you have some lovely bits there, now get pampering!

So spa evening at home for me:-
- bodybrush meself - particularly tops of arms
- shower/bath with shower puff (wonderful things!) and Radox smoothies coconut
- wash hair (I mean brush hair before shower) then gently wash hair - using Timotei at the moment.
- apply a generous wodge of hair treatment and leave in, pop a shower cap on.
- apply some face scrub.
- jump, well fall out, of shower/bath (treatment still in hair) - apply face mask - probably an Elemis one for me.
- pay some attention to my teeth (talking of which I need floss).
- now either wash out the treatment or take a nap I reckon.
- once you've washed the treatment out apply some body butter/lotion (some self tan even), eye cream and night cream.
- and sleep tight. :A

Hope to report some use-ups after this too. :j

I've managed to work through most of the stash in the bathroom cupboard, so this afternoon I'll start emptying the drawer under my bed to refill the cupboard.
I've still got lots of large size shower gel, bubble bath, hand cream & body butter plus a shoe box of travel/ mini sized bottles.

I did manage to clear all of the stashed mouth wash, toothpaste, hand wash gel and deoderant - these now appear on the shopping list as needed. I think I've used up all my shampoo as well. I'm amazed at how much I'd collected!

Woop woop - another UU for me, S&G Rightous Body butter. WIBA yes, theoretically, however as I have another 2 large pots No!

Have now started a Simple Derma cream one, which is no fun at all so I will be being very generous with the amounts I use!! I have been pampering myself far more recently and do face scrub, body scrub, body butter etc every day in bath... I will use it up but I need to make sure I enjoy it as well and not just think of products as a challenge mountain!

hi everyone mind if i join ? I am a total makeup, bath and body product junkie and need to se up what i have before i buy anymore. My weaknesses are soap and glory, lush, ELF makeup and anything reduced/ a bargain lol. Ill post up an inventory later although WOW to some of you lists i thouht i had a lot of products hehe. good luck to sticking to your plans xxxxx

count me in again for this month! got some ins for christmas...so I should last a little while...however I had two INs today...cheap ones though! tesco value shampoo & their bath foam too! rediculously cheap, 40p for the lot, massive bottles, so I thought I'd see if they're actually any good!

Right, I am in again and am determined this year to make a dent in my beauty stash. I now have 1220 beauty items thanks to the Jan sales and various Christmas gifts :o. This year I want to get below the 1,000 mark. I already have a UU for Jan so that is a start:

Laura Geller spackle - WIBA? well, it is good if you use the LG balance-n-brighten. I wish I could use b-n-b but I have very rosy cheeks and by the time I have applied enough to cover them I look a bit orange even with the palest shade. So I guess I won't be buying more spackle.

When my stash is down to a more manageable size, I may be able to contemplate listing some of what I have but at the moment it will take up too much space.

In the evenings, I am going to read the forum instead of looking at my favourite shopping sites!

I managed to UU a few more items on my holiday last week.
Nicky Clarke Highlights Cream 1 tube – only 39 tubes to go.
The Sanctuary Body Lotion 250ml had to be binned. Took it with me on holiday but went on like out of date sun tan lotion eewww!! WNBA didn’t like it to start and think it was a gift.
The Sanctuary Exfoliating Body 50ml. WNBA – given as part of a set and not as scrubby as I like my exfoliating wash.
Sure Women Biorhythm Anti-perspirant 35mls x2 WBA – does the job in a mini can
Listerine Mouthwash 95ml – down to my last mini so will be looking to by again for my next holiday.
Colgate total 25mls – last one UU and again WBA for my next holiday.
CK Obsession 7ml freebie – years old from when I was given a larger bottle as a gift. WNBA as my tastes have changed.
Clinique Repairwear Eye Cream 5ml – WBA – love this and is in a great little size for travelling.

Now to sort through my INs.....

Prada 3 x10mls Purse Spray set
Banana Republic Classic 100mls
Banana Republic Classic Body Lotion 150mls

All lovely gifts. I have still to get some gifts from my family which tends to be toiletries....so tbc.

Can I join please?

I started last year but fell spectacularly off the wagon and probably have more
than before now. (getting 2 s&g totes hasn't helped!)

Decided that I will clear as much oft stash as possible this year by wearing the nice products (and clothes and make up) every day rather than waiting for a 'special day.

Luckily I'm too poor after Boots and Body Shop sales to be tempted by anything else at the mo!

Evening all... I too only use Mitchum - nothing else makes me feel clean or smells nice long enough (tubes, train and running for the bus seems to be counteractive to most deoderants). I too will be binning all but one roll on (for the gym where I feel bad gassing people).

I have one normal set of shampoo's then I am into S&G... I hope they're good otherwise I've got alot to get through! :rotfl:

I also wear the same eyeshadow when I 'go out' but never in the day, perhaps my resolution should be to actually use and wear my make up! I have all No7 eyeshadows, most new... these are now on ebay... as are all the S&G bits I don't like from the big pink... if I get 99p for all my listings I should be £15 up... that would buy some more s&g I don't like... right?

couple of UU - a Lush bubble bath thingy (no idea which one,it was pink and shaped like a volcano if that helps) WIBA?? no. didnt like it (and not going to bore abotu the other reasons) and also forgot to report a bath balistic UU the other day (damn those two hidden sets from the grabbit last year!!!!) WIBA?? nope.
