Conditioner will also be used as fabric softener soon. No UU but also no IN's.

  • Phew its taken me a while to catch up! Welcome all newbies!

UU Avon Coconut smoothie showergel WIBA - got another in the stash and it does smell fab!

UU Elemis Absolute lifting mask - Had this for ages but used it up WNBA as I dont think it did much for me.

Had a little pamper yesterday, dyed my eyelashes (am determined to UU the dye kit!) Painted my toenails and fingernails. My DD's got some Accessorize nailpolish for chrimbo so thought I would give it a go - its pants! really thin and did not give good coverage. V disappointing even though I didnt buy it! lol

Also cracked open Toni and Guy shampoo and conditioner the volumising ones - love it! My hair is so fine and these really did give it a boost!

One in to report S & G Dr Spot as I have had some stubborn !!!!!!s on my neck! I did buy it with points though so no spend!! And I resisted all other temptations in the sale in Mr B's!

Oooh, where do you buy it? This friend buys it from her hairdresser, which is too far for me to go and I don't feel comfortable asking her to buy it for me, since Idk how often she goes there.

Lol, that made mu chuckle.

    It might be this one:

Marta... what a star you are - and I see I've misquoted it slightly! I shall amend. Thank you so much for finding it for me.

What a wonderful writer Deric Longden is. Some of you will recognise his name as the writer of Diana's Story which was filmed with Jim Broadbent and Julie Walters and also Lost for Words (Pete Postlethwaite - RIP - and Thora Hird)

My favourite Deric Longden quote isn't one of his cat stories.
It's how he was running out of petrol on his way home and realised to his horror he only had 97p in loose change on him. (This was some years ago).
He carefully fed his car the petrol, drip by drip, until it reached 97p on the pump, which provoked this comment from the garage attendant.

"What are you trying to do - wean it?" :rotfl::rotfl:

Evening all, hope we've all had relatively good ones.
littlepinkstars - made me laugh that you discovered your mum has 2 S&G boxes that you are lusting after :rotfl:
catslovelycats and sunshiney day - I'm glad you gave the Elemis frangipani good reviews - I too bought it when vegged out (probably glass too many as well) and got it as a TSV - DAMN them - I think they watch out for when I have had a couple of end-of-the-working week-snifters and then tempt me !
I can finally report a UU - a sanctuary hydrating cleanser (think Liz Earle C&P) - after probably about a year and a half !
I ended up browsing youtube last nt for some ideas on using lush products and came across some of the certifiable lunatics that have MAHOOSIVE Lush stashes - Jeeze - and we thought WE had problems !
Marta - good luck with sorting your hair out - sounds a nightmare for you..
    Take care all.

    I'm in again this year!
This is all since end November last year, when I moved house (haven't got stable internet access yet):

    In:
    - Smiley EDP spray. A Christmas present from my lovely bf :)
    - Olay Total Effects wake up wonder sample (free from website)
    - Hemp hand cream (x3). This is my HG hand cream and it worked out at under half price!
    - Hemp body butter.
    - Almond hand cream. I love the hemp one, and have heard this one is also very good so wanted to try it. I get through tons of hand cream so will be used up fairly soon anyway.
    - Orange body butter. Freebie with order above.
    - BS card (x 2). One was from a cancelled order. They sent the card even though the rest of the order got cancelled. If I'd known, I wouldn't have ordered a seperate one! At least I got a 30% discount on it.
    - Hemp gift tin (x2). Very cheap for the products in this, which will definitely get used!
    - Mother's day gift set (x2). Excellent value for the items in it, which I will use on holiday.
    - Vanilla scented reed diffuser (x2). Not really toiletries, but ordered with the two items above. To make my new house smell nice :-)
    - Apicare Restore Me honey nut body butter
    - Apicare Manuka therapy 30% skin crème.
    - Apicare Rescue Me calming gel with manuka honey. Bought off eBay with the two items above as I'm intrigued by manuka honey in toiletries and this brand also appears to be a natural one (i.e. no SLS, parabens, etc). I'd like to move to more natural toiletries after I use up my current stash.
    - Rituals Fujiyama Mandarin & Mint foaming shower gel. 50p from an on-line offer on the Grabbit board :$, and I couldn't resist. It does smell lovely, though!
    - Sainsbury's double-sided cotton wool pads. I didn't have any! This pack has already been used up.
    - M&S Fairtrade cotton wool pads. Bought to make a spend up to £35 so I could use my Oxfam voucher!
    - Boots double-sided cotton wool pads (x3 on 3for2). The packs of these have got smaller since I started buying them, and the offer isn't as good, but unfortunately my stash of these was used up! One of these is now at my bf's house for use there.
    - Superdrug cotton wool pads (x2 on 2for£2.50). To compare with the Boots ones, as they work out a lot cheaper, especially after the 10% student discount.
    - Bior! Pore Perfect nose strips. Half price (plus student discount!) in Superdrug, and I couldn't find the ones in my stash, which are probably at the bottom of a box that hasn't been unpacked yet.

    Used up: :j

    - Time delay eye cream (15mL) - can't remember which sort. WIBA? Probably. It was decent, didn't sting, felt nice on. I don't usually find eye creams “do” lots, though I daren't not use one!
    - Colgate toothpaste (75mL). WIBA? Yes, but don't need to for a while!
    - Model Me Vitamin protection spray (250mL). WIBA? Probably not. It smelt nice, but I don't use straighteners and don't even always use a hair-dryer, so I probably don't need a protection spray.
    - Time Delay Anti-cellulite body contouring cream 200mL. Bought when the Time Delay vouchers worked on it. WIBA? If the vouchers still worked, definitely! Have lots of other anti-cellulite creams to use before I need to, though!
    - Chic Choc (Kanebo) face powder N, shade E201 (8g). WIBA? Yes. Nice powder, handy little tub with a very nice puff in it. However, I bought it off eBay and haven't seen any anywhere since then.
    - 17 Skin perfecting Balancing Foundation, shade Soft Ivory (30mL). WIBA? Maybe. It wasn't very expensive and I got a GWP when I bought it. The colour was a pretty good match and it stayed put pretty well, but I have used other foundations I liked better. I would definitely buy it again if I couldn't afford to spend more, though.
    - Clinique superfine liner for brows (shade soft blond). WIBA? Yes, as this is the perfect shade for my eyebrows and it's really easy to apply. However, I already had a couple in the stash so have replaced it from there.
    - Bare Essentials foundation sample (medium shade). WIBA? Maybe. I was surprised that the SA gave me this shade, as I would normally use the fair or fairly light shades, but I did have the remains of a tan when I was given this sample. I would probably choose Lily Lolo (of Everyday Minerals) over Bare Minerals if buying a full size, though, due to a larger colour range and closer colour match.
    - Simple mango face wipes 30-pack. WIBA? No, nothing special. I only use face wipes for convenience when on holiday or at my bf's (or at the gym, but don't belong any more). I have lots of others to use and I'll probably end up buying supermarket's own brand vitE ones when I do need more.
    - Vanilla body butter for normal skin (one of two I received to trial so no name on it, but I'm certain it was from the Body Shop) 50mL tub that was half full to start. WIBA? Don't need to, as I have lots of body butters. However, it was very nice, so I might in the future.
    - S&G body butter 50mL. WIBA? Yes, but have loads of other body butters to use up first!
    - Sainsbury's cotton wool pads (50). WIBA? Yes, these were actually a lot better than I thought they would be, and are cheaper than the Boots ones are now.
    - BS Ginger shampoo (250mL). WIBA? Yes, definitely. This is an anti-dandruff shampoo, but I don't have dandruff. It suits my hair well, doesn't cause spots on my scalp as some other shampoos do, and I love ginger. I hope they haven't discontinued it before I get round to buying it again (have >40 shampoos in my stash! :o)
    - BS Honey conditioner (250mL). WIBA? Unfortunately this range has been discontinued so I can't, but I would if I could. It suited my hair well and I loved the smell.
    - S&G Scrub of Your Life full size. WIBA? No. Unfortunately I think I have one or two more in the stash, as I liked it when I first started using it. It's not bad, but I have decided that I like Clinique's 7-day scrub cream better, so will be buying that when I need to buy another scrub.
    - S&G Flake Away 50mL. WIBA? Yes. This is a lovely scrubby scrub.
    - Vanilla body butter for dry skin (the other I received to trial so no name on it) 50mL tub that was half full to start. WIBA? Don't need to, as I have lots of body butters. However, it was very nice, so I might in the future.

    Thrown out: :o

    - Body Shop pressed powder compact. Was ages old and had crumbled. There was only a tiny bit left anyway (right down to the pan over most of it), so it was thrown out when I moved. WIBA? Possibly. It was a decent powder, but I'm certain their formulation would have changed since I bought this one!
    - Estee Lauder eyeshadow and blusher compact. Was ages old and the cream and brown shades had almost been completely used up. The mirror in it had broken too. I had been using it as my “staple” choice for work, but it was thrown out when I moved.

Donated to charity (one sponsored by work): :D

    - Time Delay cream cleanser (x4), Time Delay facial scrub (x4), lots of men's Right Guard deodorant (bf doesn't like these), some other bits and pieces I didn't think I'd use. Totally filled a Sainsbury's carrier bag!

    Given as Christmas presents: :D

    - John Frieda Frizz Ease shampoo, conditioner and mini serum. (bf's sister)
    - Olay facial wash, Olay facial scrub and Nivea Zone cream (one set to bf's mum, one to his aunt)
    - King of Shaves facial wash and scrub (bf's sister's partner)
    - Boots Ingredients set with body butters, body scrubs and a body brush (bf's sister)
    - Boots Royal Jelly set with body wash, body lotion, soap and some other stuff (bf's aunt)
    - Body Shop Moringa set with body wash, body lotion, soap and a scrunchie (bf's mum)

Have you thought about selling them on ebay. Perfume is one of the few (only??) toiletry items you can actually sell legitimately in open/used condition.

Might only get a few quid. but better than wearing stuff you hate!

    [/QUOTE]

thanks:) I might give it to my dad to put on because he does all of his stuff in one go. I once sold a stella mccartney perfume that I had tried for more than I bought it for :T

UU Clarins Vital light Night cream. WIBA? this was a sample, but it didn't seem any better than my Morrisons own brand night cream, although it had a nice texture. So price wise , no I wouldn't buy it again.
UU Clarins One step exfoliating cleanser. WIBA? No , it was no better than my big tube of St Ives apricot scrub
UU Bobbi Brown hydrating face tonic. WIBA? No, it didn't seem to do anything. It smelt nice but that was it. I would rather use plain lavender or orange flower water
