No INs or UUs for me but am thinking of returning an unused toiletry product to Boots for an exchange... what is their policy on this?
On this topic... I took back 2 large Clean on Me (I like baths) and 2 Girligo to Boots earlier to exchange - she asked if I got them from I gift set and I said they were a present... she then pointed to the S&G tote on my arm and said, they come in that gify set:o:o:o I muttered something about having got that another time
oh dear it made no sense!! Anyway she went to scan them to check the prices and... there was no bar codes on the Girligo... so she couldn't exchange them as they were from a gift set
I did manage to change the Clean on Me for a delicious smelling Sanctuary bubble bath and a Orig Source shower gel for hubbie - so am happy with that! I am not counting 2Ins as 1 in isn't for me (he only has a couple of shower gels!) and the other is subsidised by the swaps!
So - if you want to do an exchange
Check for bar codes!
Don't carry in your S&G tote with you!!! :rotfl:DFW Nerd #1310 -

I popped into our local store on Saturday to ask about exchanging products without a receipt. There was a bit of discussion to ascertain that I was certain that it was only the two items I was given as "unwanted gifts" as everything was on 3 for 2 before christmas....I stood firm howver and they agreed that I could exchange so long as everything was in "saleable condition". I popped back in the afternoon with a Flakeaway and a Glad Hair day and had no problem - exchanged for products to the value of just 1p short of the value of the S&G stuff and the SA was so surprised I'd got it so close she gave me back the penny as well!ma-ri-ella wrote: »one uu at the min but heading off for a pamper session:A
johnson baby bath stuff in blue bottle 200ml wiba? yes but not full price. got it in one of those baby boxes for four quid with shampoo, head 2 toe stuff etc i have psoriasis and other skin problems this stuff doesnt irritate my skin,it smells nice etc.
oh in asdas the other day i saw shower gel for 8p!!! does that stuff even work. i dont need to buy at the mo obviously but im thinking long term budget..
MrEH uses the value type shower gels for rugby - he reckons they are fine.
Couple of UU's to report - Mitchum spray deodorant - WIBA? - already have, this is one of my HG products so is one of the things I stocked up on when I took advantage (in every sense!) of the Boots Christmas shopping events with the extra points!
Softlips Lip Balm - This was one of the older ones with the menthol type ingredients WIBA? hmmm - I like these, but they don't seem to do these menthol-ey ones any more sadly. I do still have a couple of others around the place I think, and in any case I have other lip balms as good so on reflection would say no.
I've now got a Mitchum solid stick deo out to use, and will continue with my Avon Dry Skin SOS lip balm.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Yes, the Sanctuary scrub I'm really looking forward to using - I'm half way through a Virgin Vie pot at the moment which I love - it smells delish and is really scrubby and the Sanctuary one feels really scrubby through the packet as well
I've used one of the Johnsons eye make up remover pads, the other will be used in the next few mins when I go and get ready for bed. Will do my review now though - lovely and soft and cleaned off makeup really well, definitely don't need to scrub like you do with wipes sometimes. So yes, would buy:)
Haven't tried any of the others yet, will keep you posted!0 -

Yes, I've got the Mist You Madly spray that I was going to exchange until I realised that it usually comes in a box, and mine isn't!
So....if anyone who WOULD use the Mist You Madly spray, would like to swap it for something (S&G or Sanctuary?) that I would use, let me know and we can revert to PM to arrange something!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

2 UU's to report
Treseme shampoo 500ml WIBA? Yes, it was the moisturising one, and i did see a difference in my hair, but not till some of my stash is used up, still got another 3 bottles of shampoo to use!
S&G iFoam WIBA? Maybe, i remember loving this so much when i first used it, but have slightly gone off it a bit...and i have another 2 of them in my stash!! Going to starrt on my Lush Olive Branch shower gel next though!
And some eternal splutters
S&G Daily Smooth
TBS Carrot Moisturiser0 -
Evening ladies,
Woohoo another UU finally!! A 15ml tube of Avon Anew body firming stuff. For a trial size this just would not give up! WNBA cos I suspect the way to get rid of my wobbly bits is diet and exercise, I don't want to do either!!
Hoping for more UU soon, everything seems to be lasting forever at the moment! No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins0 -

I am tempted to put the 2 Clean Mary's on Ebay since they are now discontinued!0 -
2 UU..deodorant
body spray0 -
EssexHebridean- My Avon order was nothing exciting. I got the African Shea Foot & Elbow Cream, which smells absolutely divine :A but I haven't tried it yet as I'd already had my bath when she came. A wide toothed comb when I wash this frizzy mess on my head
and a Luxe Lace Eyeliner which was OOS but will be along soon apparently.
Actually, while I've got your attention, I have very sensitive eyes but I'm looking for a night time eye cream, any suggestions? I use BS Elderflower gel in the AM but I'm hurtling toward old age rather faster than is comfortable and need something a bit more nourishing I think0
