Going well, no new toiletries bought since last post.
UU's -
No7 trial size Protect & Perfect Beauty Serume WIBA No too expensive and only had as was part of a GWP
Arm & Hammer Enamel Care toothpaste - WIBA Yes but not yet as already had a spare one. Not sure if this is any better than any other but I have carp teeth so have to at least try.
2 No7 Face powders diff colours. Both ran out in the last week as I tend to mix to get the right shade. WIBA yes but have alternatives at the moment
2 WnW Blushers that crumbled in their casings ages ago so mixed them together in a little pot and now finally gone. WIBA not sure, lasted ages in the pot but not practical for keeping in make up bag but they were only 99p each at the sale time.
Struggling with the urge to spend though as havent treated myself to anything in 2 weeks . Not sure how I'm going to hold back from Lush when I have to go to meeting in Peterborough next weekMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Oooh, where do you buy it? This friend buys it from her hairdresser, which is too far for me to go and I don't feel comfortable asking her to buy it for me, since Idk how often she goes there.
(snip)
Marta - . Mine came from a shop called Trade Secrets, you can get Moroccanoil in lots of hairdressers and it's also available online, amazon do it also:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=moroccanoil&x=8&y=22
it really is excellent stuff and a little goes a long way, hth, xx0 -

Ps: it's in 3 parts!!
You can tell you lurve your Lush stash! Ever thought of being a TV presenter so that you could sell Lush on a shopping channel? You would be in your element :rotfl:!0 -
EssexHebridean- My Avon order was nothing exciting. I got the African Shea Foot & Elbow Cream, which smells absolutely divine :A but I haven't tried it yet as I'd already had my bath when she came. A wide toothed comb when I wash this frizzy mess on my head
and a Luxe Lace Eyeliner which was OOS but will be along soon apparently.
Actually, while I've got your attention, I have very sensitive eyes but I'm looking for a night time eye cream, any suggestions? I use BS Elderflower gel in the AM but I'm hurtling toward old age rather faster than is comfortable and need something a bit more nourishing I think
Eye creams aren't really anything I'm that hot on I'm afraid - in fact I have to confess that it was only as a result of this thread early last year that I got shamed into using one at all - by coincidence while we were on holiday I had a sample of a Nivea Eye Cream and was so impressed I came straight back and bought a tube! It's more of a daytime one though as it has the reflective particles. Maybe think about the makes you know you can use near your eyes without problems, and then see what options there are from those brands? A quick look at Boots reveals creams starting at £1.52 for their own fragrance free eye cream, and there is also THIS ONE from the "Expert" range - designed for sensitive eyes, retails at £5.10 and is currently on a 2 for £4 offer along with other products from the range!
Hopefully someone with some personal experience to draw on will be able to give you some more solid help!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

B^gger! I think I just threw a Mist You Madly box out at the weekend - I could have sent it to you
I'll double check but I'm 99% sure
1 UU and 1 splutterer today:
UU: generic body lotion from poundland. WIBA? Well - it was cheap and lasted forever but it had a very 'hospital barrier cream' feel to it - so probably not
Moving onto my BS Spiced Vanilla :j
Splutterer: My shampoo - some cheap thing that should be gone by weds. Not as exciting as all the shampoos I've got in aren't great - and all citrussy for some reason
I was going to get the Royal Jelly handwash/cream in the (shhhh!!!) Boots 75% sale (starts weds allegedly) but I'm guessing people wouldn't recommend it?0 -

I have the Boots Expert one, its good, and fine for my eyes but it doesn't feel very "rich" if that makes sense. I don't really know what eye creams are supposed to feel like, I had a Virgin Vie one once that stung like a b*****dbut it was quite thick as I recall. I only used it twice and gave it away.

My extensive research on the subject has shown me , with eye creams more than anything, what works for one is useless for another! Not very helpful I know, sorry!
Get yourself free samples wherever possible to try out.
My personal HG eye product is Clarins Super Restorative eye concentrate. After trying loads, it's the only one that makes a visible difference and overnight too! However I'm probably older than you and suspect it's more hardcore than you'd need yet. Anyway, it's so absurdly expensive that I actually just use it for a few days before holidays/occasions etc now and the rest of the time don't bother!0 -
A UU tonight, sanctuary body lotion. WIBA?: Well, I liked it and it smelled lovely but..... it seemed a bit wasteful as it wouldn't all come out of the bottle. If it was available in a tub that I could get my hands into then definately. Otherwise, probably not. Time to go back to the botanics one now.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
