  • Elemis exotic frangipani shower cream: this is absolutely gorgeous and definitely the nicest shower gel I've ever used. It's very creamy, lathers up really well and smells divine - why oh why is it so expensive (boo hoo). Would love to buy this again but only if it was part of a special offer (I bought this one on a QVC TSV).

I had a small size of frangipani - for the bath I think - a qvc set (don't know why cos I don't use ELemis - one of those days when I was a glutton for any toiletry 'bargain'!). I loved it as well and like you would happily purchase it if it wasn't so expensive!

Can I add another acronym? To remind us of why it's important to stick to this challenge? I've thought of PRCP - Pink Rose Candle Philosophy.

For years, on forums (as trudij knows :D ) I've had 'Life, like any other gift, derives its value from use alone' as my signature.

That quote fits this thread perfectly.
I got the quote from a Valentine's card I was sent by my ex, in 1976. I binned said card in 1992 (divorce!) and can't remember the origin of the quote.
The really weird thing is that no dictionary of quotations or internet source can tell me where it came from.
I think it may have been Samuel Johnson (how appropriate!) but can't quite recall.
I think this may be one for the Guardian's Notes and Queries page.
By the way if you Google, you will find it - as my signature on forums!

WIBA? Are you serious?! Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole! It came as part of a set which also contained a hand cream and body lotion. I have never seen such cheap, oily, nasty products in my life. Next should be ashamed to sell such low-grade tat. I can get better any day in a pound store!

    And stay there! :T

I am now going to be much more ruthless -thanks to you - inapickle!
Might start on the Boots royal jelly lotion- Why force myself to use it up when I can't stand honey?:)

You might find it helpful to do an inventory list of your stash and post it here.

Welcome Sundance, you'll find this a lovely, friendly and supportive thread.

I still haven''t done my stash, (but it's rather a boring one), I love reading about what's out there, there are so many brands I've barely heard of (and I'm resisting them all!).

    (snip)

Hi Marta, sorry to hear about your hair troubles, I started using Moroccanoil treatment oil a few weeks ago and I think it's brilliant, you only need to use a small amount so the bottle should last ages, plus it leaves my hair really shiny, and it smells gorgeous too, xx

Oooh, where do you buy it? This friend buys it from her hairdresser, which is too far for me to go and I don't feel comfortable asking her to buy it for me, since Idk how often she goes there.
