LOL Loving the jokes Rosemary!
Couple of UU's John Frieda blonde shampoo and conditioner, I got these last christmas as a gift and have now used them all up, love this shampoo!
Also UU Issy my Scent perfume sample - loved this and would consider getting from the Perfume Parlour.
For the record I have 4 cats and a dog and I am a hoarder but getting better! I also had a pink candle moment and wore my new Irregular Choice shoes to work, got loads of compliments on them and got asked why am I wearing them to work?! I replied why not? Life is to short.
Day 14 today of no smoking. I am feeling very proud of myself as my hubby and 3 kids have also survived! LOL0 -

I'm finding the boots threads hilarious. NOT breaking my buying pledge though. I need NO toiletries. Period.
I've got 6 cats and 4 guinea pigs. I also (:D) have lots of books, several yankee candles and a lot of craft stuff. I tend to go weak for lingerie in the sales and love fleece blankets (though the cats tend to use them!!). Oh and a million carrier bags and I'm a glutton for special offer cat food! I am a hoarder by nature, as if you couldn't tell :rotfl:, hence my toiletry stash.
BUT NO MORE.
I too am a Yankee Candle hoarder. It is seriously bugging me that there has been a recently QVC TSV that I talked myself out of buying (because it's poor value compared to yankee doodle) so much so that I'm planning a trip to my local outlet on Saturday to buy some of the new fragrances. This is even though I have a few festive fragranced tarts, votives, tealights and a partially burnt medium jar candle in stock as well as five new tarts (non festive) I found under the kitchen sink plus remnants of jar candles unburnt which I usually take the wax out of and reuse - very :money:eh? This is what I am like though - there are new fragrances and I MUST HAVE THEM. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

My plan for today is to make a start on the big de-stash/de-clutter of my room i've been planning, but not got round to doing! I fully expect to find lots more toiletries hidden away in drawers and bags.
Also for the record, i hoard books, bags and make up.0 -
Forgive me for I have purchased! I have gone for the Ojon TSV and am confessing to a serious backtrack! I fessed up to buying a bottle of the Ultra Hydrating Shampoo from John Lewis which has inspired me to buy the TSV because it is gorgeous. In all honesty I have been considering going back to JL to buy the conditioner which would have cost me £22.00 but for slightly under £10.00 more I am getting the restorative treatment, shampoo and a glossing mist too (all good sizes - no piddly travel sizes!). I know I also posted about finishing an Aussie 3 Minute Miracle treatment and saying I wouldn't repurchase cos I don't think I need it but here's the thing I was watching the TSV demo and I was thinking how lank and horrible my hair felt and was so easily convinced into buying it! I will do lines if you require. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Well I heard back from a woman's refuge that's not too far from me and they said they'd happily accept unused toiletries for children/women. Thanks to whoever it was that 1st posted the idea about a week ago!
So have looked through my stash and found 29 items that I can pass on that are practical.
I don't want to give it all awayand am mindful some of my stash is presents and items that I really want!
(this Christmas gone will be the last time I ask for toiletries as gifts!:rotfl:)
is it cheating to count the items as UUs?0 -

I have been the same with Yankee Candles when new fragrances come out and have bought from QVC, garden centres, yankee doodle - but have it under control at the moment......but now I've found if L'occitane have brought out new fragrances e.g, peony, verbena summer secrets, calanques, fleur cherie, I want them. However have limited myself to the travel size shower gels only.Forgive me for I have purchased! I have gone for the Ojon TSV and am confessing to a serious backtrack! You are forgiven VALM:)... or you can come and sit on the naughty step with me after my lapse on Wednesday. :rotfl:(L'occitane order arrived this morning and have relunctantly put some bits in the gift draw. :T)
Tempted to watch the TSV Ojon demo ....... best not though, as I found the Philip Kingsley set the other day, under my bed that was the October 2010 TSV .
Must get round to doing my stash list - just the thought makes me feel a bit queasy!:o0 -
Hi ladies, hope everything is going well with you all and you're enjoying all these pampering sessions that I am reading about!
A couple of UU:
*Asda's Vitamin E Toner- WIBA? Probably not, it was ok for £1, but there are better vitamin E toners.
*The body Shop peppermint foot lotion- WIBA? I'd use it if it came in a set including the foot spray, but I personally don't like the smell- it's not pepperminty enough!
*Avon care moisturiser- WIBA? It's a nice light lotion that works ok on combating every day dry skin and it works very well for this purpose, so probably yes. It took ages to use up though because I decanted some Avon Little Black Dress body lotion into it because I didn't like the screw lid on the LBD.
* Avon So something body spray (the green one)- WIBA? Yes, it smell sooooo nice, very fresh and summery. Bet it's been discontinued.
I may be preaching to the converted here, but i found that putting toner in a spray bottle helped my skin and with a UU. It also meant that I didn't have to use cotton wool, which is something that I am trying to cut down on. Also, i've been putting my body lotion on the radiator just to take the chill out of it before I put it on, and it's made me more inclined to use it, hasn't affected the lotion in any way but also sinks in quicker!0 -

What was your L'occitane order? I missed your post. My sister bought me a selection of L'occitane shower gels/shampoos in travel sizes for Christmas which I'm pleased about because I don't have to spend money on full sizes to see what they're like.
The Ojon TSV has sold out so you are safe! xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Will cross Freederm off the list of potentials, heard some negative things about it from other people too. I'll put the Avon range on my list!
I use freederm when I ahve bad spots, I have 'general' ones all the time. It does work for me but I can't use it all the time as my skin beccaome immune to it. I can;t get on with avon as it left my skin sore and itchy, but it depends on the person and skin type I think0 -

I've stopped buying full sizes or supersizes as they take too long to get through and I get bored and want to try a new shower gel fragranceQVC seem to do too many kits with huge sizes and I know I couldn't get through them all. Anyway this was my L'occitane order post.
Needed some cleanser as getting to the end of my old Gatineau one - so thought as I am not buying the Decleor TSV set on the 23rd I will just order a cleanser off the L'occitane website.
