I'm back - neighbour is OK though she is in pain with her neck/shoulder now, to add to her terrible arthritis and recovery from broken knee - but we had a good natter and she enjoys that each day, especially as I am her only visitor (Grrrrr to her family )
My sister had a quiet night in for NYE and didn't even stay up for midnight - she says Mam is good at the moment and they are looking forward to me going up there again next Saturday :j
Hiya Nargle - thanks for popping in and sharing your challenges for the New Year - good luck with them

I much prefer living in a village, or even right out in the sticks, but would hate that if I couldn't drive, as I would feel too isolated without transport
I can understand why you like the town/city life as you can get around easily, and have people near youI think I will stick to this area for now as I do like my new job and DD is doing so well in her new school.
It is so much more difficult to move around when you have children and their schooling to considersavingwannabe wrote: »I was getting upset about taking down the tree as it is pretty and makes me happy but my sister visited and said when i was a student i had it up till August.
All we did in the end, was to put a wreath on the door so will be very simple to take our decs down - we didn't put any decs or lights up inside or outside - we have decided though, that next year, we are having the full Christmas, with lights outside, decs and tree inside, healthy Christmas dinner, etc :jMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Very Happy SW - now I have got my control back - control over what I eatI HATE the way, Mr 3Dogs and I stuff our faces, eating for the sake of it, when already uncomfortably full - so, now we are back on the SW0rld plan, as from this morning, I feel so much better about everything - it is all about being in control :j

I agree, Angel is wonderful - she cares so much and is always ready to support or advise, even when she has her own problems to deal with :AMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Moolerlights are good - very tasty and fat free - unfortunately for you they are not suitable for diabetics
That's not cheating Kit - the seasoning is just ready mixed herb and spices, so you are cooking from scratch and making a healthy meal - well done you :T
We had jacket potato, grilled lean pork chop for me and lamp chump chop for Mr 3Dogs, with roasted leeks/onions - yummy :jMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Yummy. I am going to have an early night. I do hope something good is on the tv tonight.
I am allowed some sweetstuff like yoghurt it#s just i am dairy intolerant. I dont like some soya brands as they do chocolate flavour which doesn't sound too good.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
