Anyone knows the local council MOT test centre for Sunderland (Tyne and Wear
)?

Eastleigh Borough Council operates a Vehicle Test Station, for Class IV and Class VII MOT testing, at Hedge End Depot, Botley Road, Hedge End, Southampton, SO30 2RA.

They are open for testing between 0800 hrs and 1400 hrs, Monday to Friday, prior booking is strongly advised.

kirklees council in west yorkshire do m.o.t at there depot in dewsbury, george street.

kirklees ase a MOT test centre at george street dewsbury and if you have got a kirklees passport there is 35% ofthe cost of the test

I live in Winchester and work in Basingstoke. Does anyone know a reputable MOT centre in either of these areas please? Basingstoke doesn't have a council run test centre, and not having lived in this area for long, I dont really know any reputable garages.

Any help much appreciated!

Halton council (Widnes and Runcorn) do MOT testing £34 for cars. Details on their website.

A friend recommended Mr MOT in Burgess Hill, who are not council run but don't do repairs. Its the first time I MOTd at somewhere that didn't do repairs, and the first time I passed without repairs ! I usually end up paying hundreds. I've driven 7 cars in 20 yrs, all older than 10 years. Cost was £44
