  • An unexpected NSD for me as I've caught the lurgy :( and really couldn't face going out on the razzle this evening. Have arranged to meet up with friends on Friday instead :)

Almost went to the shops to buy foods to chear myself up, but made soup from veg I had at home, and a loaf in the breadmaker instead. Much nicer and a NSD to boot! :D

    So that's NSD 4 :T

Student again now and trying to fight the debts that are creeping up again
  • Not a NSD today, I bought my train ticket BUT since I've withdrawn the money for the tickets for the rest of the week so if I don't buy anything else in the day for the rest of the week, it will count as a NSD :)
    Thank you competition posters!
  • Hello Everyone,

My first update... So far this month I have managed 5 NSDs.

I took £20 cash out on Friday and by this morning it was gone: £5 to my daughter for cleaning my car, £10 for my son to cover his bus fares for the week and £5 for my night out on Friday. The kids always get the lions share of my cash. :) But I'm doing not bad, I haven't bought my lunch at work once since I went back after Christmas.

Well done everyone on all the NSDs. :D
  • 5 NSDs and onwards and upwards! A friend tried to talk me into stopping out to the pub today, and my first thought was no!! I can't lose a day off my challenge! There's a turnaround, last month it would have been, just let me get my coat...
I think that must mean I'm not an alcoholic or a boozehound after all ;)
Well done to all and welcome to the new folks :):)

Have now got a very poorly dobey. She hasn't eaten for a week, all she does eat is coming back up (hence hubby taking duvet to the cleaners today) and she has a very swollen tummy due to the extra water she is taking on. She couldn't even be tempted by a custard cream or bacon joint which are her favourites. Thought we were going to lose her yesterday as she had four fits in two hours, one lasting for over 5 minutes. Hubby is a mess, he's currently in the "don't come near me, everything I touch dies" state.......but then that has been going on since FIL died in September :(

Anyhoo.......probably be back tomorrow now. Please don't chat too much, I really have a hard time keeping up!

    ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) LfV
Really sorry about your dobey and your Hubby, thinking about you all.

    Take care
