    Good morning all!

Another NSD for me yesterday, #2!

Got off to a lovely start today - I've just been emailed to say I've won £10 in vouchers in a prize draw, so I'm thrilled. I know it's not a king's ransom, but last week I won £7.4o in the Euromillions, and I gt another £6 vchr from a survey I did. The universe continues to smile on me:) I'll use the vchrs to treat myself to some new books, havent bought any since joining the "no more buying books challenge";)

Well done Nargle, on being so organised, and suzi wong for having the willpower to resist the Next sale:T

Will pop back later - work beckons!

    Have a lovely day everyone!:)

you will always be rich enough to be generous.

I'm in severe need of some virtual hugs this morning and feel welcome here so hoping you guys might oblige. Found out yesterday that my shop is closing on the 17th of this month  I have worked there for nearly 7 years and for the entire time that I've lived in Northern Ireland so I am in massive shock. It doesn't feel real at all but I know that it's going to hit me hard at some point today.

It just feels like we were finally getting our feet back under us and the rug gets pulled out. On New Year's Eve my OH and I felt so positive about this year and how close we were to being debt free. I do know that we will be ok and that I will find something but I'm just so upset about it all.

Sorry about the mopiness but I just needed to have a moan.......

Huge ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) twistedhazel. You rant/moan away as much as you need to. That must have been a huge shock and what timing, just after Xmas/New Year, it's no wonder you're upset. Have a mope for a few days and then, as you say, try to pick yourself up again and stay positive. Fingers crossed something better will come along for you soon xx

In the meantime, if you're feeling down and need some hugs pop in and say hello, loads of hugs available here, and hopefully some posts to make you smile.

    Take care
    spoon xx

Well I may take you up on that - I was supposed to get pots for mash yesterday but the shop didnt have the ones I wanted so I put the money (less than a quid) aside to get them today and so long as I dont spend anything else I shall be declaring it as a NSD. If, however, I spend more than that then I will be needing administered with a swift boot up the bum :o

The boot is all clean and shiny now, I've spent ages polishing it this morning :D:D

  • Please can I join. I really need to make a big effort in getting my debts down this year and have decided to sign up to a few challenges to help me along.

I'm going to aim for 15 NSD's so far I have managed 3. However this has been helped by the fact my bankcard has expired and the new one hasn't arrived!!
