  • It wasn't a NSD for me today, I went shopping. I was good though, I only bought the things that I planned to buy!
    Thank you competition posters!

OMG! I am having real issues trying to find OH an electric razor for his b'day - he say's he's not fussed on brand, just wants something to do the job and give a close shave but I really don't know what to get him. I like the look of the Braun Series 3 that is currently being advertised but its got mixed reviews....I know it's not NSD related but do any of you ladies have OH who use electric razors? I really need some advsie :(

  • NUMBER 2 for me today :T

Didn't find any taps yesterday (well i did but wasn't paying the ridiculous prices they were charging, even in the sales!), but did get 2 fabby lamps, with 50% off :j

Can't believe how much difference a year makes, this time last year i saw the sales as a treasure trove of bargains, now i see them as more junk that will only end up on the ebay pile!!
Feel so proud of myself that i have only bought household things in the sales, i had to have a new bath whatever, but instead of having to compromise on a really cheap suite i managed to get the bath i have always dreamed of with 65% off :j
Think i get it now, feel like my lightbulb is well & truly on!!

Right i shall stop being smug & go to bed now as back to work tomorrow

Spoon, please take care & shout if it gets too much & you need help!!!

You can tell a popular thread by how long it takes you to catch up - by that reckoning, this thread must be the most popular on the site :T
One of the most popular I would think, 3Dogs

Anyay, I'm reporting in with NSD NUMBERS 2 & 3 - 2 as on Sunday which is normally a spend day as I buy my fruit an veg at market/car bot but the 'fruity lady' was not there so I didn't get any - no 3 was today (Monday) as only been to slimming class and I set money aside on Friday for our class fees - having put weight on over christmas week, was very pleased to have lost 3 lbs this week :T :T

    Well done, that's fantastic:T:T:T:T

    - another suggestion to add to the list - what about if you update the first page only when people reach their targets and new targets? That would cut down a lot of work - especially if everyone kept a running tally in the signature - as others have said, we need to look after you and you need to look after yourself, so surely the less work for you the better - and the numbers posting on this thread just keep going up and up all the time

Thanks for that, am doing some thinking about this:A

I'd like to aim for 10 NSDs.

    I've managed 3 so far!

No more for me yet, moved my money into bank account "pots" for the month. But gives me an idea of what I have for the month (and fingers crossed how much I can save!)

Well sadly I think I'm in line for the kipper ashamed0001.gif although please may I request river cobber instead as it is a nice cheap cut of fish and I suspect the kipper may be verging on the slimey side sick0025.gif. Still stuck on 1 NSD with no signs of another any time soon (ok not strictly true as I think tomorrow should be one).

They are definitely more than a bit slimey now Emma:eek::eek::eek: and decidedly pongy:eek::eek::eek:. One look would put you off spending for life, never mind for January:D

Hi SuziQ1962, only if you've included them in your challenge, otherwise no, it wouldn't.
