  • Hi all, hope you're all well.

I know I haven't put myself down on the official list for the NSD challenge in January, but just thought I'd share that I've had my first ever PLANNED No Spend Day. Having lurked on the forums for some time, and without being one of those in dire financial straights (though a little close to the wire on occasion) I've decided to have an unofficial go at some of the wonderful and inspiring challenges set on here.

My basis for a No Spend Day does not include direct debits or standing orders from any of my accounts, it is purely based on day-to-day spending.

Anyway, thanks for all the inspiration and I'll report back if and when I manage my next NSD for January. Who knows, by the end of the year I may even join the official list ;-)
  • OMG this is really making me realise where my money goes!

Needed a couple of bits & pieces today so tried to get them all so can NSD tomorrow - defeated by the Post Office as 1/2 day closing so will have to spend tomorrow too - aaarrrrrgh!

Still 2 for me (haven't coloured as no change)

Yep can confirm nsd no 3. Have updated my sig.

Hazel, I really feel for you. You're perfectly entitled to feel carp. However, just a little twist, think how much worse you'd feel if you were still hugely in debt... Keep your positive mindframe and I'm sure you'll find something sooner than you think.

The coffee probably got in somewhere beanie, if there was milk or sugar in the coffee that's enough to gum it up:(

Someone on the tecchie board could probably give you some suggestions, think you need to dry it out properly.

Good luck, hope you get it sorted.
