  • Oh gosh everyone, I've just come in from work and read through since my post this morning. You guys are properly lovely and you've all been so huggy - thanks.

Got my official letter today (and my first box of chocolates from a customer - Thorntons no less!!!) which is making it feel very real now.

Also have just had a VERY posh dinner on my boss who had flown over to deliver the official notices. She asked where we should go that was reasonably nice and I was going to suggest the pub we usually go to but thought stuff it and suggested the very pricey hotel restaurant down the road, then pleaded ignorance of the prices ;)

I'm so full of food, a full three courses no less and very tasty it was too. I don't even feel a little bit bad, it'll be the last time for a while that I get such nice food.

Am feeling very sad but reasonably positive today, think tomorrow will be tough as the e-mail has been sent out to our regular customers to let them know we are closing so I'm expecting us to be inundated with well meaning sympathetic customers asking over and over "what will you do, are you ok?" etc etc.

On the plus side and back on topic that was nsd 3 for me today.

Thanks again guys, you've been so lovely, it genuinely means a lot to me.

Loads and loads of ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) to twistedhazel - hope something good comes out of this for you

Reporting in with NSD NUMBER 4 which was a surprise one for me - we had planned to go out but rain stopped that - did have letters to post recorde delivery but, rather than spoil an NSD, I've just posted them normal post

Many thanks to SlowlyFading for helping our our dear Spoon - so you now have the title Mistress SF, Apprentice Guardian of the NSD Thread :T :T :T

Number 4 for me today - very pleased with my start this month! Might need to buy some veg soon though, DH been cooking this week and I think we might get scurvy with the lack of vitamins!
