  • Morning All

How is everyone, final caught up with the last few days posting and we all still doing really well and I can't believe there are still some people who haven't spent yet - how amazing is that.
Well I have 2 more NSD over the past couple of days which takes my total up to 4, unfortunatley today isn't going to be another one as I have to post a parcel I have sold on amazon so I have to spend to get so money back but there you go, anyway rambling now

I need to make some money from somewhere :o
  • Morning everyone,

Had a spendy yesterday- birthday card and postage, as well as a few bits from Mr S- but was pleased with myself for only getting what was on my list, and not being tempted to go looking in the sales elsewhere:p

Thought today was going to be a spendy too, for an annoying reason. My DH bought me some lovely earrings as part of my Christmas present, and I have managed to lose one :(. I never usually lose things but I had the earrings in when I went out walking on monday, and I was wearing a woolly hat- think it must have got caught in the hat and pulled out:mad:. I was going to go an try to replace them today so I didn't have to own up! As it is, our new leather sofas are arriving today :j. No idea when, so I have to stay at home. Luckily we ordered the sofas before my husband's redundancy was announced, or we would never have considered it, even though we have been putting up with hideous pink sofas for all our 15 years of married life!! Now we just have to find the money to pay for them- but it is 4 years interest free.

So, assuming they don't arrive imminently I will have NSD number 3 today! :D

  • NSD No.6 today :j
Working long shifts this week has really helped with the NSD's ( I never take any money to work - I take food in and/or take advantage of the free food on offer to us sometimes).
Myself and OH also stuck to a rigid meal plan when we did our last weekly food shop. This has worked sooo well; lasting us for 9 days so far (with the exception of fresh milk/bread bought). It's really focused my mind to use every little scrap in the fridge before shopping again ;).

    Have a good day peeps.

  • Am not going out today so NSD 4 for me, please  I think the next few days should be NSD days too - got to go to Boots to pick up and already bought item tomorrow, so that will be a test of willpower, but I don't need anything so will be walking in, picking item up and walking out again (and then straight home!) Getting a food delivery on Tuesday so am hoping that will be my next spendy day.
Hoping everyone else is doing well :D

Just reporting another NSD for yesterday!! Thats me up to 4 NSD's.
I am hoping that today will be another one also, but i am trying to resist the urge to disappear to the shop! Kids are back at school today which means i am more likely to just disappear along the road for a paper/magazine and some chocolate... My willpower is winning this at the moment, fingers crossed it keeps me going for the rest of the day!

Popping in to report #4 for today. No spends today apart from a book from Amazon BUT I'm using the proceeds of my sale to pay for it so money neutral;)

Mum phoned to invite us out for lunch today but we cant go as we are waiting in for the insurance inspector, so we are going on Saturday instead. We are being treated so I shall look forward to that!:D OH starts back to work on Monday and he's had word that it may be on a night shift job, so that's a wee bit extra dough :T
Tomorrow will def NOT be a NSD as I have decided to renew my Co$stco membership so I will be spending on that plus stocking up my freezers. I HAVE budgetted for it though and it saves in the long run!;)
