Trust me when i say that you will soon get the hang of this NSD lark, it wasn't that long ago i was a newbie too!!! My top tip is definitely to visit the thread regularly & shout when you need help, there really is the most amazingly friendly, helpful (& slightly nutty :rotfl:) bunch of people here.
Only slightly nutty BDINI? I'm completely nutschris81418 wrote: »
BTW Don't work too hard Spoon - this thread is amazingly popular at the mo, but we don't want you working yourself into the ground please!
Agreed Chris, Spoony you really do work hard for us. I can barely keep up with the posts let alone what everyone is doing AND keeping people motivated. You really are a :staradmin:hello:Good morning everyone!
Blimey - what a busy thread! Welcome to all our new friends!
Just a thought Spoon - since the thread is so busy, why dont we all keep our own totals in our sigs and declare at the end? I love the fact that you look after us so well, but it's a lot of work for one gal! I really dont want you running yourself ragged trying to keep up with us all. Have a think about it  In the meantime, thanks:A
Have a lovely day everyone:)
See Spoony, we're all concerned for you. You are loved!!!
I'm declaring today a nsd today, that makes no 2 for me. I have been invited out for the afternoon but I'm so short this month I'd better not. Going to wash the car instead.
Have a good one all.0 -
Hi everyone,
Nice to see that we're all off to a good start in this challenge. I've had 2 NSDs so far and am anticipating that today will be another (as I'm not planning on leaving the house!) Using up things in the fridge and cupboards for meals for the rest of the week.
I'm planning on not spending until Wednesday as I need to pay a few bills, go to the Post Office and get exciting things like loo paper, so hopefully I'll manage 4 in a row.PAYDBX14 #060 £677/£15500 (4.37%) 6/18 NSD Make £10 a day £179/£155 £2 Savers Club #57 50p Savers Club #24 20p Savers Club #29 7/22 AFD Sealed Pot Challenge #290 Weight loss 2/54lbs 13/21.5 hours Team Dragon! Thanks guys.:A I did say yesterday I think it might be a bit much this month. The first few days are always busy with adding everyone, I'm hoping it's going to calm down a bit over the next couple of days, if not I'm going to have a real rethink about it as I can't cope with two hours every day doing this... especially when I start back to work tomorrow:(.
I'll see how this week goes and, if the thread is still growing at this pace, I'll have a think and might take up your suggestion, jinty.
In the meantime, good morning everyone and welcome to all the newbies who've joined up since my last update. I'll be back later to add you all to the front page.:D
'bye for now
