Sounds like a brilliant idea to me. I may follow suit...~Nym~

really want to join the NSD challange but don't think I could manage any more than 10!:( I work part time so have to pay train fair 3 days a week, I do my shopping on a thursday so thats out ... If anyone can give me some tips on how to achive my NSD's I would really appriciate it
You can also set your own rules - for example I don't count direct debits that come out of my accout - only purchases made with card/cash. If your train fare is an essential spend then you don't have to count that as a spend if you don't want to - just if you spend anything in addition to the train fare that day...and regarding the shopping on a Thurs - even the best NSD'ers have to eat sometimes so don't beat yourself up about thatThe best way to get the most out of this challenge is to decide what you are hoping to achieve by taking part and set your rules according to that. Good luck! x

Welcome to all the newbies (though does that mean I'm an 'oldie' now?!) - I've been doing this since last January and it has totally transformed the way I think about money. Read the first four posts on page one for lots of good advice from Spoon and BigMummaF.
This thread is huge now - the list on the first page is massive!! Hope you're OK keeping track of so many people Spoon, and good luck to everyonexxx

Didn't get round to getting my contact lens solutions, but will definitely need to get the tomorrow. No other spending planned, have 1/2 tank of petrol left (since before Christmas:T) & we have bread/milk & meals until Wednesday at least.

I reckon that if you bought the items originally then it should definitely be an NSD. You've already spent the money once.
If you didn't buy the items originally then that's different - not sure on that one. I would probably class it as an NSD. Anyone else have any thoughts on this one?

That makes sense so today is NSD number 2. I won't have a NSD tomorrow as meeting friends for lunch.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0
