Im not sure if its number 2 as I had to return some items at b & q so got some cash back but then needed cooking oil so bought some from tescos. What do you think fellower challengers?

    Hi skaps
I reckon that if you bought the items originally then it should definitely be an NSD. You've already spent the money once.

If you didn't buy the items originally then that's different - not sure on that one. I would probably class it as an NSD. Anyone else have any thoughts on this one?

Evening all - I have decided to count yesterday as a spend day, felt I was cheating by placing my internet order after midnight. today was also a spendy day - needed petrol and a few bits in Mr A - OMG! It was heaving instore AND the traffic to get in was unbelievable.... guess everyone was trying to shop before the VAT rise.

I also realised that the order I placed had the incorrect delivery address on - so I will need to call tomorrow to sort that out, guess that serves me right for shopping after beer :o:o

Oh dear, kerri... to Mr A, your lost NSD and your delivery address.... maybe a lesson to be learned there:D

  • hi guys and gals, just checking in to report 1 and 2 in the bag, spent today having a post christmas/new year tidy up ready for going back to work tomorrow.

My tumble drier packed up yesterday so I'm trying to convince myself that I don't need to replace it - truth be told I can't afford to replace it anyway. OH is going to have a look at it tomorrow and see if it can be coaxed back to life or not. It is still spinning so I'm vaguely hopeful.....

Looks like this year is going to be more spendy than I'd anticipated as we now have a family wedding to fly to later this year and a poorly drier:mad:

Haha I only changed that today - we have known for ages but I kept forgetting! It's ages away though, so you have plenty of time to choose your hats :p

Yes I think a lesson learned indeed...have just placed a new order so I can just cancel the other one. That's me back on the NSD wagon tomorrow for deff. In fact, I might start leaving my purse at home - perhaps just taking a small amount of cash for emergancies out with me in the week. I've been pretty good not spending having my purse with me, but not having it will mean I don't have any temptation to spend.
