Hi Spoon and all the NSDers.

Sorry I am late in joining. As with many people January needs to be a frugal month for me. Spoon can you put me down for a target of 15 this month, so far I have managed 1 (yesterday).

Oh and Happy New Year everyone:D

Thanks guys.:A I did say yesterday I think it might be a bit much this month. The first few days are always busy with adding everyone, I'm hoping it's going to calm down a bit over the next couple of days, if not I'm going to have a real rethink about it as I can't cope with two hours every day doing this... especially when I start back to work tomorrow:(.

I'll see how this week goes and, if the thread is still growing at this pace, I'll have a think and might take up your suggestion, jinty.

In the meantime, good morning everyone and welcome to all the newbies who've joined up since my last update. I'll be back later to add you all to the front page.:D

    'bye for now
    spoon xx

Just a little idea, if the thread does get too much, how about you/someone does a weekly round up (I would suggest Sat or Sun but I don't know how that fits in with the weekend) based on people putting their NSD total to date in their sig on a Friday night? Or just post on liners declaring their weekly total on a Friday night? People are still free to chat as normal through the week and on other posts but if we all have a separate, easy to recognise one on a specific day, it means you don't need to go through all the posts.

  • Afternoon all

Didn't manage number 3 today as I had to go out unexpectedly. Took advantage of being out though and bought today what I would have bought tomorrow - all lunches now in for when I go back to work later this week :D.

The freezer and storecupboards are also full so I know I will have no more spend days now until Saturday at the earliest and only then as I'm meeting someone for a coffee :j

Looking good so far. Good luck to all. May you be blessed with many NSDs :D.

Unfortunately, a spend day today - spotted the bread and milk being delivered at FF, so I stocked up as I needed both. I have meal planned up to Sunday so I dont need anything else ;)
Put a spot of diesel in the car and OH got new work trousers and sock, but he paid for all of that, so small spend ;)

I just do not know how you manage to keep track TBH.

Will be a very frugal month for me.
DS's driving lessons are so expensive & there is no test centre where we are so once they get to a certain stage its double lessons.Deep sigh.Unfortunatly he cant go out in my car as its an automatic.
