Well yesterday was the first NSD of the month so it was a good start. Sadly today will certainly be a spendy day as I'm out of bananas, plums etc and my little fruit bat needs his supply (Cheryl I feel a little like you and your milk monster!! Only difference is mine is only 4 years old so I want to encourage the healthy eating - no doubt it will change when he goes shool ).
There isnt a lot I need so have a list for those few bits but I will be looking out for any more bargains like I got last week (not that I have much room left in the freezer but I am sure I'll manage if I 'need' to )

Wow - 157 posts already! Anyway, welcome to all the newbies and hello to everyone else!

Checking in to report that 2011 got off to a good start with a NSD for me yesterday, so I'm off the mark with 1 NSD - woohoo! :j

Spoon - I forgot to add to my monthly pledge, that I'd also like to go for my usual 6 NSDs in a row - thank you! The 11 in a row that I got last month was a one off - 6 in a row is much more realistic for me, but I'll have a go at getting near my personal best again!

Thanks for adding me to the list again spoon

Thought about 'popping to the shop' as per usual for 'a few bits' as if!

The challenge made me rethink this as it used to do, I'm not popping to the shop because I don't need anything! I'm going to put the breadmake on and I've got loads of stuff for tea, hoping for NSD 2 today. Let me see if I can stay strong

The other thing that helped me when I'm at work was leaving my purse at home, I work next to a v.lg Mr T's that is all too tempting to go and 'have a look' or buy things I don't need at lunchtime. Think I'll give this another go to help me out a bit next week

Bought a 70p can of coke whilst walking the dog this morning - with the cold I have I need the caffeine - my excuse and I'm sticking to it! So still on 1 NSD.
