Hello and Happy New Year to everyone! December was not good as far as NSDs went but am determined that January will see me reach target. Very little money to spare anyway until 24th of this month (payday) which seems one heck of a long way off. Could I sign up for 12 please Spoon.
Today is my 1st NSD of the New Year:)DeeBee0 -
Good evening NSD gang oldies and newies, and a Happy New year to one and all!
Am reporting in with my first of a target of 12 NSDs....Nargle's on the case...
Niccatw - loved the shot of Igor in his second-best underpants at the New Year's Eve party, just wish I could have been there, but work got in the way. Sounds like a good time was had by all and Hubert the donkey will never be the same again.....
So, Mistress Spoon and Co, what delights have we in store for January? I suppose a Burns Night thingy should come into it somewhere, perhaps our Scottish brethren can organise that one for us and let the rest of us Sassenachs know what to wear and what to bring etc.
(What, Igor? How do I know how to slaughter a haggis, you're the chef round here!!! Get Gordon and Jamie round for a few beers and a few lessons...but don't invite that Nigella woman, one pilchard margherita and she's anybody's...)One life - your life - live it!0 -

"Builder's Brew but hold the sugar" is the ONLY way to drink tea (though I actually use skimmed most of the time)Cheryl0 -
There are some 'old timers' on here
with lots of experience who do count DD and any other money that comes out of their account, and try to manage spend days to coincide with these.
Yep, I'm one of those. I switched from ignoring D/Debits to including them as spends at the start of July - and until December (when I totally went off the rails) I actually found this worked well for me, as it focused me much more on what I needed rather than wanted/fancied

I also need to devise little prizes for myself as rewards for completing tasks/projects...not sure if I should be using food as a reward as I am trying to lose loads of weight! Perhaps, an afternoon of cross-stitching can be "won" if I complete 5 biggish tasks in a week.....I don't want to make it a competition, as I will be back to doing too much again!!
That way you shouldn't feel guilty about the "me time", but when you're working on the 'to do list' you know you've got the "me time" to look forward tooCheryl0 -
Please can I join again, with a target of 10 for January?
First of my 10 today, so that's a good start. Hopefully tomorrow will be number two as well!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
