Thought I got away with it here
. I should have known better! :rotfl:
What are you after MoneyPenny2k? You can have whatever you like as long as it's just tea! Any-one else?
(Trust me when I say no-one should have drank the cups of tea I made! I had no idea what I was putting in any of them! :rotfl:)
I think I can safely say today will be NSD 1 as I'll be back of to work in a few hours. But, because I am superstitious that way, I'll confirm later.

NSD no 1 is being declared for me! I don't need to go out or buy anything...Went to Asda yesterday and got an obscene amount of food for an obscenely low price.....about 40-50 worth for about 15...and that's some casserole stuff to be made into soup, stuff to make a beef casserole, lots of chicken and nommies. Also got some more fruit as my intake will shoot up, and my hand blender so I can make said soups and make myself eat more veggies (at least, this is the plan)
Also ,can you put me forward for 3 in a row...I'll see if I can manage this at least once** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

Happy New Year to everyone!!!
Wow, page 4 and 2011 is only 12 hours old!!
Think I will aim for a target of 17 NSDs Spoon, with 5 in a row as an aspiration...never managed that, ever!
So declaring today as NSD no 1 for 2011...:j
Hopefully tomorrow will be one too....not sure about the rest of the week though.
Right, off to get some things sorted...new calendars up and written on...meant to get this done last week...hey hoh!!
Resolutions: apart from the regular ones: lose weight, get fit, save money etc....I am going to add a new one: Finish off what I start!
I am forever having "good ideas", get so far but never finish, or worse...don't even start them!! Then I feel guilty for being a failure. So this year, I will not be or feel a failure (or at least much fewer times!!). Wow, that seems a big huge really, wonder if I can manage it! I also have to marry this with: don't overdo things, as I have a tendency to do far too much, especially all at once!
Oh boy.....perhaps I will just: Plan more and be better at it!!!
That's pretty concise!
Sorry about the ramble....just trying to get my head sorted!!
Here's to a great year ahead.
thanks again mm72nd purse challenge no040£0 Sealed pot challenge ???? £2 trolley find not counting small coins till end year0 -
I'm in with a target of 10 again. I really was hopeless last month

Trust me, anyone who makes me tea (strong, no sugar, just a dash of semi skim please) is my friend for life.0 -
Hi all!
can i join please - i'd like to try for 10 days in Jan
do you have rules or is it just a case of make it up as you see fit?
Hi Puddings, welcome to the challenge. Basically, you make up your own rules regarding what you could as a spend/no spend depending on what you want to achieve with the challenge.
For example, I joined to try and combat the £1 here/£2 there spends I was making in the week - especially at lunchtimes, and make me think more about what I was actually spending on. I don't count direct debits (as I already account for these in my mothly busget) or cc payments. But I do count petrol purchases. Basically, anything that doesn't automatically come out of my account already, where I need to use a card/cash payment.
Emergency spends - such as unforseen vet bills, prescrition purchases or doctors/hospital parking are also up to you (though we do try and stay fit and well as much as possible :rotfl:)
There are some 'old timers' on herewith lots of experience who do count DD and any other money that comes out of their account, and try to manage spend days to coincide with these.
Also, its up to you whether you count purchases made with gift vouchers/points as a spend or not - most of us don't I think (these are our little 'rewards')
The best bit of advise I can give is be honest with yourself about your spends, set your rules and don't try to cheat your own system. Also, we never fail - we just sometimes don't meet our targets, but every NSD we have, even if it's 1 a month is a day £ has stayed in our pockets
Good luck with the challenge xFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Hi
Please put me down for 8. I know this is low but I am so used to spending EVERY day.
Trying hard (again) in 2011.

Debts: £12K. Not good. It will take around 4 years to sort out. But it's doable.0 -
Happy New Year Everyone!!!!
Hi & welcome Pudding, was going to give you advice, but think Kerri has said it all perfectly so i'll leave it to her!!!Resolutions: apart from the regular ones: lose weight, get fit, save money etc....I am going to add a new one: Finish off what I start!

Aww Keiss you're not a failure at all, same as we say about not meeting NSD targets, sometimes you just have to re-prioritise all the things you need to do so that you don't become overwhelmed, as you already know you overdo it sometimes. That's definitely not failing, it's just plain sensible in my book!!!
& back to the matter in hand, i'll go for 15 this month please Spoon, with a resolution of posting daily as it helps so much & i've struggled much more the last couple of months while i've not been posting so much!!February NSD challenge 5/150
