can someone just explain the quidco connection, does that mean i open a quidco account, go on quidco then click thru on their avon link, enter my client's order and get commission from quidco and avon? sounds too good to be true!

It will only work from the "customer" Avon site - it may initially track from the rep site but it won't pay out. This is a way to minimise cost if you need to order something urgently for some reason from the "normal" avon site :)

No I never tell reps that I can check on things on their account - mainly as it would worry them, and I rarely do anyway unless they've had a problem.

Each to their own, I guess. I always tell everyone I sign up that, as their SL, I can view their website. My thinking was that this would give them a bit of confidence if they're not that computer literate and sometimes we even talk through things over the phone whilst both on our websites. Hmm.... never dawned on me the other side of the coin. Thanks.

Am a hoarder by nature and, maybe, quite controlling ('very' my family would say :rotfl:) so hadn't dawned on me before that we'll also carry that modus operandi through to our Avon businesses but guess we do..... ;)

I certainly wouldn't check through my reps orders for suggesting creative ordering - I haven't the time, and it's their business so they should be doing it - I show them how and if they're unsure they know they can check with me. Sounds harsh but otherwise people will expect it and then if you can't for any reason - no time, family problems, your team is too big etc, then they could go funny with you. Plus a lot of my reps don't enter their orders until just before they submit anyway so wouldn't be able to check for them anyway.

See your point. I just give my team members the option i.e. if they email/text me and load their order early then am happy to cast an eye over it and make any suggestions. Once I've done my own orders it doesn't actually take long to spot an odd improvement or two and my thinking is that hopefully it encourages them to at least check for themselves the next time so they get the most out of Avon and spurs them on.... As you say, though, it's their business; I offer to help but up to them to specifically ask for it.

sounds like we both do it about the same, if they ask about whether its cheaper/better to order x from the other brochure I'll check for them, I just don't give them option of me checking over their whole order but if they asked then I would.

Sorry me again, have been reading up on this thread am now on page 25! But can I ask, do you get a discount if you order from the brochre for yourself, for example there are a few ANEW items I'd like?

I am off out to collect my latest dropped books, my first orders are currently £152.50! I will hit the £148 target!!!

re the chocolate, i have decided i am going to add a funsize choc and teabag for all my customers who ordered as I haven't yet got any samples or clearance goodies as sweetners

Just to mention that I've just picked up a couple of boxes of 15 sachets of Nescafe Original from poundland. Food for thought if anyone wanted to include a wrapped (but cheap) drink.

Donna - you get your standard 25% discount from the brochure but HT is nett.

I've been trying to work out my territory today and I'm even more confused than I was when I was emailed it :o I have a housing estate at the back of mine which are all Ash-something and its completely confusing as to where is what. I've been told one road is 1-69 (odds) and 2-18 (even) but its not, its 1-19 inclusive I think :o Then there are 3 closes which are all connected and its not clear where one ends and another begins :o I might skip that and go onto the straight terrace road instead then go exploring when the weather is better :rotfl::rotfl:
