donnajt - just a thought about putting choccy in with brochures, as someone here pointed out some time ago, it might be a problem if someone's dog ate the choccy. Think it's a no no for dogs."Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0

this is quite right, as human chocolate is like a poison to dogs! (although try telling that to my other halfs mum!)
But deffo give the t-bag a go as someone on connects mentioned they did that!
With some orders one day i threw in a handful of chewy wrapped sweets (big bag of them was about 99p in Home bargains)donnajt - just a thought about putting choccy in with brochures, as someone here pointed out some time ago, it might be a problem if someone's dog ate the choccy. To give you an idea, that feeling you get when you're trying to deliver your goods but people are not in (and/or just not answering the door) is multiplied quite a few times when you've spent your time and money travelling to sign someone up, paid for a sign-up pack and their books, only to find that they are then rejected by Avon!:mad::mad: I had one recently and she lied to my face - stupid me.... am soooo trusting! :rotfl:
Of course, they're not all like that but it can be quite time-consuming being a SL. Like reps, we all support our team members to different degrees.
Sounds like telephone canvassing without the face to face.
Can't beleive that person blatently lied to your face, thats terrible.:eek:Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -
what a lovely soon to be DH! :T
Hehe yes he is good! Well it'll only be the once we do it so may as well have what we want - we don't spend much going out, don't drink much, don't smoke - about the only thing we treat ourselves to is a few take aways and a ridiculously expensive sky subscription lol - so will be nice to splash out have a lovely day with all our family and friendsAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
sylvergrunge wrote: »Thanks guys, I had a similar dilemma as a customer had ordered an eye cream which I had in stock (from one of the ANEW sets from clearance, think I paid £4ish) along with the freebie. I have just ordered 2x cleaners for £15 which include 2x freebie sets and used the free delivery code. Also went through quidco for 10% cashback so hopefully all will arrive without an issue. If it doesn't work out at least I can return it all free of charge so haven't lost anything. Am going to order a set with my normal order aswell though just in case it doesn't pan out, at least I will still have one to give my customer
Just to let you all know, this worked perfectly, received 2 x Cleaners and 2 x Freebies yesterday, with free P&P and Quidco had validated for £1.50 already :jEveryone loves a bargain :beer:0 -

Yes, and she'd obviously had a lot of practice too - I told her of a previous sign-up I'd done where the son wanted to be a rep but his mother had stopped doing Avon whilst still owing money so he was rejected. She never flinched. Maybe she thought applying with a new surname would get her through but confirming she'd been at the same address for over 20 yrs sort of nailed on the Debt Address. :rotfl:Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

MarsdenCuckoo wrote: »As your Sales Leader should've explained, they can view your Avon website on theirs. Makes sense really because they can then help support you i.e. I keep an eye on my teams orders to suggest Creative Ordering opportunities. Sometimes they tweek their orders, sometimes they don't but it's their choice. Your SL (and ASM) can even place orders on your behalf (but should only do so with your written permission) - it's all part of your support network.
It was never explained to me when I signed up, so was wondering why/how she could see!!0 -

most SLs/ASMs won't tell you when they sign you up. I wasn't told....0 -

can someone just explain the quidco connection, does that mean i open a quidco account, go on quidco then click thru on their avon link, enter my client's order and get commission from quidco and avon? sounds too good to be true!0
