Definitely think am 'doing something wrong'.

First time I went swooping I got 12 leads but not one single sign up! Second time, got 7 leads but again no-one signed. :(

As for Hot Leads coming down via your ASM, only ever had one (and she was a 2hr round trip away). Was given a bit of extra territory recently for a new sign-up only to come across a newbie signed this week (Hot Lead) by someone in the next village rather than given to me (I live a few hundred yards away....)

Doesn't make sense to me other than 'personality' maybe.... i.e. ASM's have their 'pets'? :rotfl:

Gah...don't tell me that, I only got 2 leads and am yet to contact them ref signing up. Gonna phone them on Monday to arrange a day so hoping they wont have cooled over the weekend. I am sure it is nothing you are doing wrong, just some people can't see the opportunity that Avon can give or they can't be bothered to put in the time and effort.

Think maybe am good at 'bullying' people into saying yes (just to make me stop pestering them - either that or my enthusiasm is infectious but it wanes as soon as they go home with the literature....).

We went out with 'Cornish Pasties' (only really works :cool:- or not - in our part of the world) - basically, a few freebies, notes about being a rep and a book with a few order forms so they can pass round their F&F and try to get some orders before they get the follow up call. Idea, obviously, is that their F&F are soooo enamoured they're hooked and all we need to do is go and sign them up. I had a plethora of excuses for why they didn't want/couldn't see me for the follow-up visit..... :rotfl:

PS: When I enquired and realised it was Avon I was ringing about I really didn't want to do it; am still puzzled how - when I was adamant - my upliner managed to sign me up...... Now if I could tap into that..... Hmmm....

Hiya everyone,

Just wanted some advice, I tried Avon a couple of years ago however my sister has done Avon for years and therefore I struggled to gain customers as family and friends etc were loyal to my sister, anyway she has recently decided to give it up so I am considering having another go and taking on her customers etc however I wondered if I would be able to re join?

I dont want to be considered a time waster or anything?? xxx

I noticed my delivery day in late April has been changed from a Friday to a Saturday because of bank hols I suppose. Might be an idea to check as, if you're like me, It's good to be able to plan ahead.

I've been asked if I am interested in becoming a sales leader! should I go for it? only been doing it since jan! my sales leader says she is inundated with people atm.

hiya ladies! long time no see!
Well... i'm afraid i am a failure!! I have given up.
Simply because my ASM is alllllllllllllllllllllways out of the country so im never able to query anything with her, when i do query anything she says she will get back via e-mail and she never does, OH is having to miss an hour overtime every night that i need to go and do everything avon related, therefore he is losing more money than im making. I cant possibly put much more time into it as im stuck for time as it is, my little girl is missing out on me time etc so i have sent a note out with c4 saying that after c5 i will no longer be doing avon. Its a sad day and i have had such fun but its time for me to finish xx

I would think hard about it because if you're only just learning about avon yourself, how are you supposed to pass on your knowledge to your reps? I have been repping since sept and i wouldnt consider myself ready to take on a SL role yet. Also, you may decide, like me, after a few months that its not financially viable so you will have recruited some reps and have to let them down if you decide that avon isnt for you. Your SL/ASM may well just be trying to make more money out of you... its a shame some are like that!

quick question! recieved a text from my SL saying that i've got a large order saved and whether i was going to submit it or not! (meant to of gone in last night- I think!) how does she know what i've got saved???

they are like the toys in toystory.... they can see eeeeeeeeeeeveeeeeeeeeeeeerything!! Think they have access to that sort of info... dunno why really.. i guess just to keep an eye on how we are doing.
