Could be worth trying to get as many referrals as possible from the customers you have got on your territory - some might know people who want to see an avon book, but wouldn't think to ask them / tell you without a big hint:rotfl:

Put 2 order forms in your books next time - write on the top one in the message box "FREE GIFT when you refer a friend", then on the order form underneath, write on the message box "For your friend". For free gifts - I say give something that looks impressive but hasn't cost too much - say a big bottle of bubble bath, it won't cost much with a discount and looks good. Some people will take the hint lol and show the book to someone or at least ask around with there being a freebie on offer! And if they don't, it will make them think "o shes nice giving out freebies, she's obviously taking this seriously". So works in a few ways :)

LOL nice thought but WAY ahead! :rotfl:
Already give gifts and an extra order form with each brochure :D But hopefully there will be more orders on wednesday when I go back out :) Must stay positive! :)

Could someone do me a favour - I've edited the first post on this thread to include links to FAQ, hints and tips and party tips - could you check that they work and let me know if they don't? Meant to link them ages ago so that we still had all the useful info at the beginning that A had on the last thread, but only just got round to it!

have been onto the first page for you! link works to the last forum/page we had before you did this one! xx

I hope so ;) Looks like I might have my 2nd rep - assuming she is going to send me her details on email like she said on the phone LOL Did have to explain the concept of Avon to her which was interesting as her english wasn't great... Then again I had to start somewhere too when I moved here so it will get better - just makes it a little more difficult for me lol

Whoop, had a phone call from someone wanting a brochure :D she used to be a rep, and loves the avon bras, so could be some good orders coming my way with any luck :D

    Good luck, lozza.

Took me a while to be confident enough to offer a 'special little service' to my customers..... i.e. I have some, who are 'unusual' sizes, so I offer to keep an eye out for any bargains. ;) Avon don't do many (32A/DD & 40/42 E/F) but some of my customers have to do a 50 mile round trip (one of the downsides of my part of the world :rotfl:) and pay £30+ for a bra just to get one that fits. In those circumstances am more than happy to 'order a few' just to help out knowing full well that I can return any unwanted ones without having to pay for them first and customers get to try them on in the comfort of their own homes with no pressure.

Hi, my daughter, who's 13, would like to apply for Avon - I'm happy to oversee what she's doing in case she gets into a mess but she's pretty clued up so I think she'd do pretty well.

Is there anything I should know before contacting Avon? We're in Ayrshire so if there's anyone looking to recruit, please pm me. I'm assuming she wouldn't need to do tax returns so that would be a bonus!

As other have already commented, it would have to be you, who signed up to Avon and then your daughter could help you. IF you're still interested on that basis then the following thread may help you find a SL near you:

    Good luck whatever you decide.

Seem to recall seeing some Avon docs somewhere in various foreign languages..... Unfortunately, can't remember where at the mo but maybe someone with a better memory than mine will be able to help.

    Good luck!

Thanks MC - just got her details through and looks like she's in Central London! Not sure how she saw my ads but there you go! Have asked her if she is in London and if so if she'd like me to pass her details on to a more local SL through my upline - ironically had a text from someone IN my area but she's 14! *sigh* so going to reply with a message explaining you have to be 18 but if her parent or older sibling wanted to sign up she could help them :)

be careful doing that - people have lost their businesses doing this in good faith. not everyone in honest - and just think , if the under age person who is going to run the account leaves it to debt, then the person who actually signed up could turn round and say "o the sales leader said it was fine, shouldn't she have known that its breaking the rules". Doesn't take much, and while I like to believe the best in people, I've learnt not to be niave as plenty of people will take advantage and lots of people are dishonest. I just tell people they need to be at least 18 - if they then decide of their own back to get someone to sign up on their behalf, if I've not been told and have absolutely no knowledge then fair enough, but I won't risk anything ono the chance of getting one more rep, just not worth it when you can loose your team & the ability to be a rep.

Not wanting to be all doom and gloom - but just want everyone to be aware of what they can be risking.

Looks like your ads are being very successful; not done this myself yet but thinking about dipping a toe in the water at the mo. Care to share any tips?
