~Avon Hints & Tips (Part 7) ~

Hi, hope everything is going well. Had a terrible C13, but by the sounds of it I wasn't the only one. C14 is looking much more promising.
I phoned Avon on the 10th as soon as I noticed a couple of things were missing from my order. They put it through as an order correction and for a while it has been showing as 'Prepared.' Does this mean that it could have been sent out and on its way? Avon said it would be here in 5-7 working days and I told this to the customer, so I really hope it shows up tomorrow!
Depends if you requested an Immediate Replacement or not. If you just requested a replacement, it will come out with your next due delivery.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon

Yes, unless you're in Presidents' Club.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon

I've never been charged before and the website has just been changed from may be charged to will be charged. When I queried it I was told it had changed in campaign 9.
I'm sure that I am the last to know but thought there might be someone else who wasn't aware.0 -
Hi all
I've generally been a lurker on this forum, but joined Avon in campaign 11... got convinced by the ASM to be a Sales Leader in C12... qualified immediately, got a downliner in C13 who has qualified... and another now in C14 who is about to qualify
Just need to bump my team up by a couple more and i should go advanced in C14 too

Joining Avon was one of the best things i have decided to do this year - i hated being unemployed when i lost my job in Feb 2010... started to drive me insane not having anything to occupy my mind.
Love the fact that for the 4th 1/4 the bonuses have increased and the LOA1 bonus is now uncapped!!!
I plan on making a lot of money!!!!! Avon Sales Leader in North Kent Since July 20110 -

Well done, BO; that's no mean feat! :T What area are you in? Am guessing it's a fairly big town - no way would that be possible in my part of the world (least I don't think so).
At Live Your Dream a SL won an award for getting to Exec in 6 campaigns  Maybe that'll be you next year?
Give us a few tips on how you're getting your leads, etc. please - either here or on the new thread.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon

Hadn't noticed the difference in terminology but the £2.50 charge introduced from C9 was for orders under £10; not additional orders.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon

I queried it and they said it was for additonal orders as well now. Not impressed and it's not so much the amount but the principle of it.0 -

I'm in North Kent. I am out door knocking several days a week and try and get at least one each time, if i have a downliner out with me they go in her team to make sure they get enough and qualify, but i have them both all trained up now so i can just pass them any leads i get and one especially is keen to move on, so likes to come out with me. I am planning to go prospecting outside Morisons tomorrow to try and get a few to top my team up.
My only tips really are:
* Put in the hours - the money isn't a lot when you're low down, but once i'm higher up the money will have made the previous couple of months of slog worth it, I see it as building a foundation now that will make my life easy in the future.
* Be enthusiastic - i'm really enjoying it all and although i used to be the shyest person in the world and talking to strangers scared the pants off me, i just psych myself up to it, put on my thick skin and get on with it with a big smile on my face.
I don't let the bad days get to me cos i know i have had a couple of good days where i got 5 girls in a day, so it evens out.
Still being new to this myself i am open to suggestions from more experienced Reps and Sales Leaders. My personal sales are regularly £300 ish... doesn't mean i'm not wanting more
I can't take on any more territory atm as i only just get around all of mine in the 3 weeks. Avon Sales Leader in North Kent Since July 20110 -

Sorry, maybe I should clarify.... to the best of my knowledge additional orders have always been charged @ £2.50 unless you are a member of Presidents' Club. Since C9 Avon also introduced this charge for orders under £10 and pretty sure they are charging it for paper orders now but not sure when that started.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon
